Totally fine for adventure It will be hard to get past level 21, but you can grind 100 SLP a day fairly easy. And I have seen in done in comp too, but that is more difficult to win

I believe you have the right concept and all, maybe just put on the wrong digit or forgot about it. to highlight, 1st breeding with 0/7 is not $75 given ur SLP and AXS prices. 300 slp alone with ($0.28) is not $75. 300x(S0.28) + 4x($16.40) = $149.60. I guess you forgot that breeding needs 2. anyway, no offense and again thank you for making good contents about Axie. more to come
Ah. The cost listed there is per parent. It gets doubled in the calculations down below. But I think it is useful to see cost per parent in case you want to for example breed a parent with 0/7 breeds with a parent that has 3/7 breeds. However I did have a mistake in the breeding cost that someone pointed out in the bottom section. I have fixed it and reuploaded the file. But best of luck with your calculator! I find building one yourself is a great way to understand the mechanics, plus I make mistakes all the time haha, I just wanted to give everyone a starting point
I hope you read this comment! Do you see that at almost any SLP price, it will always be more profitable to buy SLP to breed and sell the SLP you farm? You can do both at once, especially when you are farming a lot. *(It could not be true if the price of the Axies you end up selling is relatively too high)* You can easily see that by adding the profits in the "If you buy SLP" table, and the ones in the "If you sell SLP instead" table
I am not quiet sure what you mean. Maybe my labels are not clear, but the table "IF YOU SELL SLP INSTEAD" shows the amount you make if you sold SLP over a certain number of days equal to the time it would take you to regain your investment. If you farm more SLP that you need to breed, you can totally sell it for extra profit. But if you farm enough, there is no point buying it.

Another great video. I just think if AXS or SLP goes way up high, Axie prices will go higher in price accordingly, as breeders will offload the cost on buyers
then there will be less new gamers, who will be able to afford the cost of entry -- it's all connected, like in a circle of life. Keep in mind this is popular in southeast Asia, third world counties. From what I gathered so far, head company has ways to influence the prices of AXS & SLP in order to keep incentives to expand the game, so they could keep earning the commissions.

Amazing video! I got into the game with the purpose of breeding but I bought when prices where about 500 usd then in dropped almost 50%, would you recommend me to sell my breeds or to wait for the price to climb back up, I think it will probably do once the servers get fixed

Who would you sell your slp if breeding is not profitable. Axie prices will soar with coin prices and will make it impossible to onboard new players, which the team doesnt want. What do they do in that case? Lower resource cost of breeding?
They could lower the resource cost. They could also increase the supply of SLP and AXS to drive down the prices of one or both. If breeding is not profitable I would probably sell a bit of SLP

I don't have it in front of me, but that sounds correct! Also I have not updated it yet, but you only require 1 AXS per parent now instead of 2. So you should also change the AXS cost column to 1's. I will be updating this soon
I tweaked it on my version and you have approximately 25% increase in profit per generation if you grind slp yourself. However this doesnt equate in the fact that 1 of the sales will lag by 5 days but it will also be a virgin sale, this does however allow you to maintain more purity in breeding by selling the least pure virgin of the 3 bred.
I use uniswap to Ronin, but yes lots of fees. Eventually you will be able to buy it natively in Ronin, but they haven't added that yet. You can also earn AXS by placing in the top of the competitive ladder.
I started my first breading today following your guide. Many thanks! But I would like to know, what do you do with the parents after you bread them twice?
Personally I breed for both. My recommendation for someone who is just starting out would probably be sell the first few generations to recover some of your investment faster, and then start breeding for Scholars. But it depends on how much risk you want to take on.
Would it be possible/better to buy 3 pure of the same class type? Example: you buy GEN 1-1, GEN 1-2, GEN 1-3 as a pure Beast. So that you're getting nothing but pure beast which means you can sell them for more?

Then buy 2 more copies of each of the 3 axies and start 3 separate family trees with them to keep them pure...OR should I just buy 2 copies of 1 of the axies and start 1 family tree with just a set of 3 pure axies? 1 family tree is about a $1700 investment atm 3 family trees is about $3000 investment. I was wondering what's the math behind, if you should sell the parents or not of Gen-1 for example. I have two 99% plant's with perfect meta genetics, bought for like 0.6. Should I simply "calculate" if the price of the third breeding is lower than the estimated sell price of the third child?
You are welcome to download the calculator and mess with it. It is in excel. Make sure you look at the market and see if there is a loss of value for your parents if they have 2 vs 3 breeds on them as well because you are probably devaluing the parents as well when you breed. So it is more like if the 3rd child sells for more than the cost of breeding materials plus loss of value on the parents .
Question: When you give us a team can we choose the meta of the team that we are confident we can excel in PVP farming or do we just accept any team that you give us? I'm sure you won't give us a crappy team but if I have a meta in mind that I think would work better for me because I've read all the skills of each Axie that could counter most of the teams, would that be a better way in giving a scholarship/team? I already submitted my scholarship application before I saw this video and didn't have the chance to ask this in the form.
That is a good question. I typically keep some of the better offspring from my breeding to make teams for my scholars. But there is some flexibility. I always ask my scholars for feedbacks and I work with them to improve their team as well.

So, things have changed drastically in the last days. Rules, max SLP in the game and especially the AXS price. I know axies prices went up too but I guess the changes will also shake the axies market a lot. I believe prices for good axies is going to increase a lot now. Would you still go with this method and might the ROI be longer after this happened? Shouldn't I be doing my own research with the excel? Well, I am. But I'm sure everyone is asking themselves the same question haha. Would be cool to hear your thoughts about it though.
Hey Guilherme, I need to do some evaluation myself with the recent spike in AXS so I am not sure on th ROI yet. I think good axies will start being worth a lot more than floor axies once people realize the difference more. I would definitely play with excel a bit and come up with some numbers you are comfortable with. Keep in mind the team has mentioned they might change breeding requirements in terms of both SLP and AXS in the coming weeks so I think everyone needs to be flexible
This is probably a weird question, but how involved in Axie Infinity do you have to be to actually profit from it - especially in your case, as a Manager. I imagine that having different scholars to manage and keep up with takes some time, and how much time do you spend yourself in Axie? Do you still find time to get to non-Axie things that you enjoy? I'm kind of getting the sense that as a standard player that's not a scholar or manager, you'd have to spend like 2-4 hours a day to get the most out of Axie, I don't even have any ideas how much you'd spend as a manager. I could only imagine it would be like 3-8 hours a day, or more depending on how much you have to manage. Does any of that sound accurate? Or are you a lot less involved than it might seem?
I have a question. If you breed 2 axies (ex. Gen 1-1 & 1-2) do they actually produce 2 eggs as a given? Or did you pick a quantity of eggs when breeding? PS. Sorry idk how breeding works yet.
Is there a big difference in the end result money when breeding 2 axies 4 times, sell 3 and use the 4th with an new axie bought and breeding axin those 4 times and so on... Asking because im terrible in calculations and you seem to understand it very good! Nice content btw!
I would have to think about it a bit to figure out the price difference. But this method would definitely work. Make sure you are breeding something with lots supply like plant tanks so that it is easy to buy a new parent each round.

I have 3 axies, one bird, plant and beast, they are all 0 breed count, beast is 96% pure and plant is 92% pure, is it worth breeding 2 different types of axies together or does that ruin the point

I find it varies a lot unfortunately haha. But typically I find 3 breeds to be more profitable than 2. But I also sometimes do an extra breed because I need an axie for a scholar.

How are you seeing the economics of breeding at the moment? I have a couple of thousand slp saved up so I'm wondering whether to just sell it or buy an extra Axie that matches one of my team and breed them a few times.
My recommendation would probably be to run a breeding simulation and try to figure out what you could sell the offspring for. Can you make more money by selling your SLP or by breeding after the price of gas fees and AXS? Of course prices fluctuate and there is lots of uncertainty, but that is how I look at it
How long after you click the "morph to adult" button, does it take to turn the egg into an axie? I have 4 eggs, that are 2 days past the 5 day incubation period, and every time i click on the morph to adult button , a pop up window comes up saying "Your Morph is still being processed. This might take some time. Thanks for your patience." So how long can this take. Every video I have watched about this, the egg turns into an Axie right away. Can anyone explain this to me ?
Whats the best class to breed in a safer side? say for example I have 3 have to breed., meaning it will be all aqua., instead of selling in the market can it be use in adv and arena (3xaqua) .
Yes it can. I would say grinding lots of SLP in arena will be hard, but getting your daily 100 SLP in adventure should be easy. And you can definitely get 5 wins a day in Arena on the lower ladder which will allow you to claim the daily quest.
Hello, I saw that breed mechanism change. When I try to breed to axies with 0 breeds it is necesary 600 SLP. Do you know where I can see the SLP cost for different number of breeds? Thanks a lot for your time
I usually do 3-4 depending on the cost because it gives you more options to sell the the worst ones and keep the best ones. In my experience the chain stays pure enough for a while to get a lot of returns back, but there is so much RNG that you can never be certain. Every once and I while you just have to sell an axie or two and buy a new one

You can buy it, which I explain at the end of my recent video. But to earn it, you need to place in the top of the competitive ladder. We are on an off season right now so you have to wait for the next one. The team also announced they will be sponsering other competitions to win AXS

@@timetopoint thats what scholarships are for, whales tend to buy most of the slp made by the scholars to make more scholars or breed more.

Does this mean if I decide to breed thrice or more, I just change it to x3 instead of x2? Also do you depend the offspring min and max eth based on marketplace? Thank you so much!!
I don't have it in front of me, but that sounds correct! Also I have not updated it yet, but you only require 1 AXS per parent now instead of 2. So you should also change the AXS cost column to 1's. I will be updating this soon
no you also need to change the breeding cost to include 3rd breed. Its currently (F9+F9) + (F10+F10) you will need to add F11+F11
I tweaked it on my version and you have approximately 25% increase in profit per generation if you grind slp yourself. However this doesnt equate in the fact that 1 of the sales will lag by 5 days but it will also be a virgin sale, this does however allow you to maintain more purity in breeding by selling the least pure virgin of the 3 bred.

I use uniswap to Ronin, but yes lots of fees. Eventually you will be able to buy it natively in Ronin, but they haven't added that yet. You can also earn AXS by placing in the top of the competitive ladder.

Personally I breed for both. My recommendation for someone who is just starting out would probably be sell the first few generations to recover some of your investment faster, and then start breeding for Scholars. But it depends on how much risk you want to take on.

Would it be possible/better to buy 3 pure of the same class type?
Example: you buy GEN 1-1, GEN 1-2, GEN 1-3 as a pure Beast. So that you're getting nothing but pure beast which means you can sell them for more?
Some mixed axies sell for more, but it is hard to find good genes for the breeding R2,R3 etc. So i usually recommend pure breeds to increase profits.

I was wondering what's the math behind, if you should sell the parents or not of Gen-1 for example. I have two 99% plant's with perfect meta genetics, bought for like 0.6. Should I simply "calculate" if the price of the third breeding is lower than the estimated sell price of the third child?
You are welcome to download the calculator and mess with it. It is in excel. Make sure you look at the market and see if there is a loss of value for your parents if they have 2 vs 3 breeds on them as well because you are probably devaluing the parents as well when you breed. So it is more like if the 3rd child sells for more than the cost of breeding materials plus loss of value on the parents .

Question: When you give us a team can we choose the meta of the team that we are confident we can excel in PVP farming or do we just accept any team that you give us? I'm sure you won't give us a crappy team but if I have a meta in mind that I think would work better for me because I've read all the skills of each Axie that could counter most of the teams, would that be a better way in giving a scholarship/team?
I already submitted my scholarship application before I saw this video and didn't have the chance to ask this in the form.
That is a good question. I typically keep some of the better offspring from my breeding to make teams for my scholars. But there is some flexibility. I always ask my scholars for feedbacks and I work with them to improve their team as well.

So, things have changed drastically in the last days. Rules, max SLP in the game and especially the AXS price. I know axies prices went up too but I guess the changes will also shake the axies market a lot. I believe prices for good axies is going to increase a lot now. Would you still go with this method and might the ROI be longer after this happened?
Shouldn't I be doing my own research with the excel? Well, I am. But I'm sure everyone is asking themselves the same question haha. Would be cool to hear your thoughts about it though.
Hey Guilherme, I need to do some evaluation myself with the recent spike in AXS so I am not sure on th ROI yet. I think good axies will start being worth a lot more than floor axies once people realize the difference more. I would definitely play with excel a bit and come up with some numbers you are comfortable with. Keep in mind the team has mentioned they might change breeding requirements in terms of both SLP and AXS in the coming weeks so I think everyone needs to be flexible

This is probably a weird question, but how involved in Axie Infinity do you have to be to actually profit from it - especially in your case, as a Manager. I imagine that having different scholars to manage and keep up with takes some time, and how much time do you spend yourself in Axie? Do you still find time to get to non-Axie things that you enjoy?
I'm kind of getting the sense that as a standard player that's not a scholar or manager, you'd have to spend like 2-4 hours a day to get the most out of Axie, I don't even have any ideas how much you'd spend as a manager. I could only imagine it would be like 3-8 hours a day, or more depending on how much you have to manage.
Does any of that sound accurate? Or are you a lot less involved than it might seem?
I have a question. If you breed 2 axies (ex. Gen 1-1 & 1-2) do they actually produce 2 eggs as a given? Or did you pick a quantity of eggs when breeding? PS. Sorry idk how breeding works yet.
Each time you breed, you receive one egg. Then you can breed again at a higher cost to get the second egg. And so on

Is there a big difference in the end result money when breeding 2 axies 4 times, sell 3 and use the 4th with an new axie bought and breeding axin those 4 times and so on...

I would have to think about it a bit to figure out the price difference. But this method would definitely work. Make sure you are breeding something with lots supply like plant tanks so that it is easy to buy a new parent each round.

Okay my other question, do you find it more profitable to breed two at a time since the axies with breed count of 2 will sell for more? Or do you find it more profitable to breed up to 4. Thanks for being patient with me as well.
I find it varies a lot unfortunately haha. But typically I find 3 breeds to be more profitable than 2. But I also sometimes do an extra breed because I need an axie for a scholar.

How are you seeing the economics of breeding at the moment? I have a couple of thousand slp saved up so I'm wondering whether to just sell it or buy an extra Axie that matches one of my team and breed them a few times.
My recommendation would probably be to run a breeding simulation and try to figure out what you could sell the offspring for. Can you make more money by selling your SLP or by breeding after the price of gas fees and AXS? Of course prices fluctuate and there is lots of uncertainty, but that is how I look at it

How long after you click the "morph to adult" button, does it take to turn the egg into an axie? I have 4 eggs, that are 2 days past the 5 day incubation period, and every time i click on the morph to adult button , a pop up window comes up saying "Your Morph is still being processed. This might take some time. Thanks for your patience." So how long can this take. Every video I have watched about this, the egg turns into an Axie right away. Can anyone explain this to me ?
It should only take 5 min max. But this bug has happened to players in the past. If you are on the official discord you can try reporting a bug.

Whats the best class to breed in a safer side? say for example I have 3 have to breed., meaning it will be all aqua., instead of selling in the market can it be use in adv and arena (3xaqua) .
Yes it can. I would say grinding lots of SLP in arena will be hard, but getting your daily 100 SLP in adventure should be easy. And you can definitely get 5 wins a day in Arena on the lower ladder which will allow you to claim the daily quest.

If you are only doing 2 breeds, isn’t it not very likely to keep a pure breeding chain for multiple generations?
I usually do 3-4 depending on the cost because it gives you more options to sell the the worst ones and keep the best ones. In my experience the chain stays pure enough for a while to get a lot of returns back, but there is so much RNG that you can never be certain. Every once and I while you just have to sell an axie or two and buy a new one

You can buy it, which I explain at the end of my recent video. But to earn it, you need to place in the top of the competitive ladder. We are on an off season right now so you have to wait for the next one. The team also announced they will be sponsering other competitions to win AXS

The idea is to sell off each axies after it has been bred 2+ times.

The calculator actually doesn't account for selling parent Gen 1-3. Thank you for reminding me about that! However, otherwise I think it does what you want it to. I might have just not labeled things very well

My formula doubles it to 4. I have it as 2 per parent, 4 per breed.

Yes, I breed at least twice depending on the cost.

That is correct. It's one of the reasons it is so hard to breed 100% pure axies.
