Based on my experience with my mb200 I try and turn the Idle down to about 1900 so the torque converter is not Partially engaged but not much from factory

Had the issue with my pull string not engaging. Pulled the pull sting assembly off and scotch brighting the top and bottom of the metal wings and haven’t had an issue since. Pull string still binds with the housing when it doesn’t coil properly…

Did you have to re adjust the idle? Higher or lower then the original specs?

There is a small black screw on the carburetor if you loosen that screw the idle will go down, and if you tighten the screw the idle will go back up.

Thanks cris. That's what I meant. I know how to adjust the idle. Just wondering after the stage 1 upgrades if you increase or decrease from the factory recommendation of 1400 +/-

@@johnfillmaniii6899 for the stage 1 kit I put on my go kart I did not have to adjust the idle. But I might be different depending on the engine you put the kit on. My kit was for a Tilitson 212.
