endless traffic, high prices nearly but certainly everyone is from california , strip center 7-11 on every corner its either a dump or its 3 mill for houses. parker used to be great! grew up there moved to parker in 1958. dont waste youre time iits a joke!
Apologies for the rant...Agree in general though TX is more appropriate than CA IMHO. Moved here in 2004 from the Platte Park area so that the kiddos would have good schools. Kids tested beyond what the public elementary schools could teach and I'm disappointed to have stayed as the kids attended charter schools which we could have found elsewhere. Parker had potential though, because of a lack of vision and feckless leadership, is now a glorified truck stop. How many fast food restaurants and gas stations does one town need? Every new groundbreadking is one or the other of those with a bank thrown in for diversification. There is little diversity of businesses and restaurants to keep the residents here during the day. As far as restaurants go, the only ones I now frequent are la Baguette du Normandy (LOVE!), India's Kitchen, Fika, and Black Haus. The Garage has gone down hill and everything else is meh at best. You need to go to Lone Tree or further afield for any decent food. Traffic is a pain and will only get worse as more uninspired homes and multifamily gets built w/o the increase in infrastructure. At least Castlewood Canyon is nearby, Natural Grocers is a god send, and there is now a Trader Joes for what that's worth. The trail system is also a plus. At this point, I spend more of my time not in Parker and leave entirely when Parker Days rolls around.

When's the last time you were here? We have lived here for six years and love it. Thanks for watching our video!
