      He is not answering questions, thats not his style. Even he has a very few people asks questions and commenting under his videos and he still dont like to care and reply to his subscribers; it seems its a very hard and useless task for him. He thinks he is way too big and importand for getting that low and communicate with us because he is standing way too high for us. We regular people are nothing for him, he is a god compared to us. So let me answer to your message: You can improve your chess at lichess, chess.com and ICC(internet chess club) These are the best websides for me, and these websides helped me a lot for improving my blitz and bullet chess. Good Luck.

  • @manisdogfish
    @manisdogfish 7 років тому +44

    Even at a 1min time control, this is a complete waste of data and time. The idea that we need to lower time control to make chess interesting for the younger ADD generation is not only complete nonsense, but a detriment to the game itself. What a waste

    • @cancri6745

      Research any and all world champions and see what they say about speed chess.

    • @yyoo
      @yyoo 7 років тому +2

      Nearly all of the great champions played speed chess. Carlsen and Fischer played lots of it in their youth and Carlsen recommends it for all young players. Even Botvinnik, notorious for disparaging blitz, played it in secret.

    • @manisdogfish
      @manisdogfish 7 років тому +5

      yyoo First of all, what matters is what they SAID about speed chess, not if they played it when they were a kid for fun before they started studying seriously. Second of all, that's a lie. Botvinnik when asked if he ever played speed chess said and I quote, "I played it one time when I was on the bus." Do your research and speak the truth, otherwise don't talk, at all.
      Anyways, this is not even the best argument. The whole point of chess is to find the best move or the right move, NOT about moving fast. To sacrifice correctness for speed is not only idiotic, but will make anyone a worse chess player and therefore ruin the game of chess. Fischer and Kasparov advanced the game of chess because they found better or the best moves not because they moved fast

    • @CheapShotFail
      @CheapShotFail 7 років тому +2

      "To sacrifice correctness for speed is not only idiotic, but will make anyone a worse chess player and therefore ruin the game of chess."
      I can attest to this. I've been playing primarily online blitz since I began college and my rating and OTB strength stagnated almost instantly, and has remained so for two years. Furthermore, my interest in studying chess has deteriorated significantly, although a lack of time to study probably has contributed to that as well.
      And worst of all I feel like an idiot for not listening to Fischer. Meanwhile I'm getting my act together so that I can hopefully make my last norms for NM before my skill slips completely.
