Toto is one of those legendary bands born of the 70's when music and musicians were true professionals- no autotune, no backing tracks. Just pure musicianship born of creativity, hard wwork and joy.

I heard "Hold the Line" on the radio in 1978, when I was 15 yrs old, I'm 61 now, & it's still one of my fav, all time songs. Next day, I also went right over to the record store & bought the LP, still have it. TY for posting, excellent quality!! They sound great!!
All right. Cheers to your 15 yr. old self. Still rockin' like all of us. 67 now! We've been blessed with so much incredible music in our lives. Just phenomenal 👏
always liked TOTO but that show on Sept 1 2024 made me LOVE the band, sounded awesome and they seemed to be really enjoying playing for us! Thanks for posting the show and a BIG thanks to TOTO
"I'll Be Over You" will forever bring my mind back to a summer evening in late 80s Los Angeles 🌇 so great to see the band finally playing this over the Hollywood Hills ✨
100%! The sound was soo good when I saw Toto in Stockholm. And since Ken is also a very kind man I got to take a picture with him after the show as well✌🏻
Sounds absolutely amazing for an open air show. I saw them earlier this year before they swapped 2nd keyboardists. Super stoked for Dennis Atlas. Talented musician! I'm glad the OP didn't move his phone or zoom in. Sounds great.
Hope Luke, Joe and Dave could write and record a new Toto album with this amazing lineup. They could just call themselves Dogz Of Oz (like they have already been doing) rather than Toto to get around all those legal complications of the past few years.
I came across this show because of an article about Steve Lukather, who's riffing away right now, being involved in a project as a tribute to Jeff Beck, the master guitarist that passed away in 2023. His wife actually brought some of Jeff's guitars here to the states, and different guitarists are playing them in concert! Unreal. Luke plays a strat of Jeff's on Light Wing 🪽 and Africa 🌍 Watch for it. His tone is crazy.
Altough this is not the Legendary line up of Toto i would like to hear i must accept they sound really good , i was there and it really like it so much, miss so much Simon on the drums, bobby Kimball , mike porcaro , David paich .Luke and Joseph The last original members outstanding and the rest of the band too talented
Great Concert by Toto and Christopher Cross. Sadly was sitting in section F3 where they had some obnoxious attendees. They were laughing and cackling the whole time. Talking loudly over the music. They ruined the concert for everyone around them. Wanted to tell them, I came here to listen to Toto, not to hear the cackling of the Wicked 🧙♀️ of the West.
I love it, these guys are just letting the incredible music speak for itself. No fluff, no laser lights, just some different colors washing in here and there.
Loved that it was just a stationary shot. Great audio. I just enjoyed the music without tons of shaky movement, amateur pan and zoom, out of focus shots of the Bowl. Just nondistracted video...🎉🎉🎉
Joseph is actually sounding better with time and he's probably the best lead singer to carry this band forward with Luke. He was great on TOTO XIV. Though he will never be the singer that Bobby Kimball was. See Bobby in his prime on the TOTO IV tour at the Budokan in 1982, or on the Mindfields (Livefields) tour in 1999, the "25th Anniversary: Live In Amsterdam" dvd (2002), and the "Falling In Between Live" dvd (2008). Bobby was untouchable. He will always be THE VOICE of TOTO and the singer on the biggest Toto albums of all time.
Toto, Journey, Foreigner, Survivor, Fm (my fav:) that's real rock! Classic rock will never die !

I saw Steve with Ringo's ALL-Starrs and before that I never knew how great he was on guitar.

what happened to him?
@@steveng9730 He had to be taken to the hospital in the middle of a show around a month ago. I don't know anything beyond that.

Only one original member left. No one cares anymore. Lotta cover bands do their tunes better than they do!
That would be 2. And that is your sorry opinion
Yes but Steve Lukather was and is the major part of the band as one of the best guitarists of all time!!!
Well if only 1 is 'gone', what's the big deal!
It's never the same band if any original members are gone! But the spark is still there.
