I have to say, I really appreciate that this garden tour was done on a whim. It was encouraging to see the stage of your plants before "a little bit of maintenance." Love everything you guys work so hard to do! Thank you
Typical gardener: UGH these weeds....oooooh look at those ROSES! You guys are the BEST!!
Thanks, Laura, for not cleaning up everything before filming. I know I'm watching a real gardener, not the "Vanna White of plants" when I see you pulling a few seeds, snapping off a dead leaf, or commenting on what you haven't gotten around to doing. I've been gardening for 50 years or so, and I still learn from you every week.
Wow, very nice experience, @Julie Kane
I know your business is gardening and showing plants at their best. However, for those of us aspiring to create our own heaven, it is encouraging to see other gardens that aren't 100% perfect, but still look gorgeous!! And even educates us on things (pests, over watering) that might be occuring in our gardens.
Looks beautiful as always!
ua-cam.com/video/LwkTlVe5fYU/v-deo.html
I like the mini tour format! You spend more time on each bed and you're not rushed to get in the whole property. The full tour can be overwhelming.
Working in my garden gives me a peace that I can not describe. I feel like I have my own little sanctuary in a world that has completely off the rails. Watching your enthusiasm only makes me want to do more. I have learned more from watching your videos than I have over years of working on my own or from any other sources.
Mary Sisak I absolutely agree with you! After every video I want to go out and work in my garden!
Agreed! Laura is amazing and so inspirational to us gardeners 🙌
Mary I totally agree with you. I turned off my TV in March and started what I now call my COVID garden. I have been watching Laura and Aaron since January 20, 2017, there is a reason I know that date because of something that she was watching on her phone. I have passed the passion onto my daughter, we text each other on what every new video is about.
All that being said I wish you an abundance of gardening peace. Best place in the world to be.
I feel that way as well.
This cottage garden surrounding the coop may be favorite spot! But I also enjoy the garden near the hebe statue under the willow. Ah, but then there is the beautiful new walkway right beside your house where you planted the gorgeous lavender hedge. Your luscious vegetable garden is a glorious sight as well! The circle garden you showed last in this video may be the best it has ever looked! Oh heck, your whole garden is my favorite spot!🤣
It is hard to pick a favorite. Chicken coup and the little area with the tiered fountain are among my top.
Agreed!!
Everything is looking great! The chicken coop garden has come together so well and so quickly.
Me: seeing everything and thinking it’s as beautiful as can be.
Laura: Going through the plants and explaining that she should have done more grooming and maintenance.
That s exactly what I was thinking! :)))
Hi Laura, I was wondering. How does walking in your yard make you feel? My yard is a lot smaller but the feeling I get seeing things that I planted grow makes my heart so full and grateful. I love how happy you are when you finish planting “anything” in your yard. Thank you so much for such a wonderful channel, please never change your spirit. God bless you, Aaron and little Benjamin!
ua-cam.com/video/7gG97wm5a2U/v-deo.html
Laura, thank you for showing us places in your beds that need attention. I think we need to hear how you evaluate the problem spots and what you decide what to do. Thanks for showing us how to maintain your beds.
I love tours like this ... when everything is gorgeous but not previously perfected just for the video. I like seeing you address the occasional weed or dried leaves or plant that needs attention. You're so inspirational AND relatable and honest... that's why we all love you! 🥰❤
I agree. I love the "imperfect, perfect" garden. Nature does what it does..
Amen
I LOVE when you can go plant by plant! Please consider doing more mini tours of your place and your parent's garden too! Its so easy to take notes and see everything. Or maybe I'm just too plant-obsessed 🥴
Thank you for alllllll that you do, even when you're tired and trying to keep it all together. Please do whatever you need to take care of yourself and baby 👶 💕 ❤ 💗
What a heartwarming message.
You know , Laura, i can see you running that big grader . Small, but mighty is you!
I love the mini tours. More than the big ones. I like when you spend more time in one area. If can stream all your mini tours into one big one. 💕
Yes! I agree... Like the long one's are great for watching on a lazy afternoon...but the short ones are just perfect for the occasional boost of inspiration 😂
Good idea. If she rotated through the areas a couple times per season, that would be one heck of a playlist!
@@twobluestripes this!!!
ua-cam.com/video/7gG97wm5a2U/v-deo.html
I love a garden tour💕🌸. And please don’t make everything look perfect before you do the tour. I can never look at my own garden without seeing a million things I still need to get to. I felt right at home.
I agree! It’s the imperfection that keeps us going and makes it relatable for all of us with smaller gardens.
I too agree! Stop beating yourself up! It looks beautiful! Us gardeners can be way too critical of how things look to others.
Laura, I love that you show what is growing well, what is/was struggling and why, and what pests/problems you encounter. I learn SO MUCH this way. Plus it helps me know that even if we falter or fail, we gardeners can all relate to the beauty and the struggles we face in our gardens. Thank you for keeping it real!
Agree. Perfection is not expected.
@@marywhitfield7553 agree 100%
Perfection is not expected!
Actually, I prefer it to have some "real" issues!
Laura, we don't want a Hollywood version.
A "real" garden puts the "You" in You Tube
♡♡♡
I love love love this part of your garden, (especially seeing more examples of perennials!) Even with the few areas needing maintenance, it’s glorious. I hope you’ll never stop showing these very true realities of gardening.
The world's most pampered chickens with their glamorous floral decor! (:-) So pretty!
Sometimes I can't believe all the work you put into this channel and even into the description!!! SO MUCH WORK!!
So nice to visit and have a colorful tour. Chickens are so spoiled 😆
WOW - so gorgeous. Well done Laura & Aaron. I was dreading that I had to go out and water my gardens in this heat. I just saw this video and now I'm motivated to go out and take care of my garden chores. Thank you so much for sharing your gorgeous garden and home with us all.
Do you have any idea how wonderful it is to wake up in the morning to your garden, and of course you. First thing I do in the morning is make myself a cup of coffee, grab a notebook, then settled in to the days Garden Answer. Thank you so much for giving me something to look forward to each and every morning.☕️❤️
I do the same thing. Morning coffee with Laura and Aaron! Seeing your beautiful flowers and projects motivates me and brings me joy. First year into retirement and I get so many ideas for my flowerbeds. They've never looked better. The hubby has even started asking, "Is Aaron working on anything today?" You are his new hero, Aaron. He loves to see the tools and techniques to make gardening easier for us.
Deb A congratulations on retirement. I have two more years and I’m counting the days. First thing I’m going to do in retirement is set up a drip system and the the veggie garden. Enjoy each day and I see you on the next Garden Answer chats.🌱🌷👍🏼
OMG the chicken coop area is looking so beautiful!
Looks amazing! Better than the landscaping in front of my house.
@@themailman8038 . Brasil.....
Ok. Brasil...
Love the Mulberry charm xxx
Just stunning! I love the cottage garden effect around the chicken coop. Those are some lucky chicks! 🐓 Thank you for doing this mini tour! It’s always nice to see the rewards for all your hard work and how the plants have grown and matured from planting. Y’all are the best! 🙌🙌💚🌿🌸🌼🦋
That garden calls my feet for a tour. Beautiful plants, pretty blooms, simply gorgeous. Hope i live next to yours and it's a pleasure to help you weed Laura and Aaron😂. Watching your channel had been part of my daily routine😂. It's like watching my favorite tv series😂. Thank you.
My favorite garden show all ready saw it on proven Winners this tour was absolutely beautiful all the flowers and plants......hopefully one day my garden look like this 😁😁🤩🤩
ua-cam.com/video/LwkTlVe5fYU/v-deo.html
It seems to me, that the garden looks so much more beautiful than usual. Garden perfection...Girl, you are blessed and blessed with a green thumb.
Good Morning team Garden Answer...Laura and Aaron. It all looks beautiful. I like the full gardens and I wouldnt have picked out, overgrown anything. I love it all. Thank you for sharing your garden. So very nice to see the progress. Have a great day all.
ua-cam.com/video/LwkTlVe5fYU/v-deo.html
The Serbian spruce lollipop container is my favorite. It’s beautiful with the fluffy, floral under planting. It’s definitely not a typical container planting that works year round. Love it! 🧚🏼
Beautiful as always. Thanks for not having everything perfect that’s what makes gardens interesting.
I love that this tour showed your beautiful beds in real time rather than perfectly groomed. That’s real life. Thanks for the tour !
Beautiful! A great way to start my morning, watching you showing your lovely garden.
Drinking my morning coffee watching your garden tour. What more could you ask for? Thanks for making my day...again.. xoxox
Wow! From the tilling, laying brick, & some plantings to this is super impressive. Thanks for for showing us how it's done. Everything looks beautiful. Love seeing these area's.
Your garden answer you tube channel is way better than any channel that I can find on tv. Thanks for sharing your vision and knowledge with all of us.
I love this cottage garden area! Y’all are doing a great job. I hope it relaxes you as much as it does me. Beautiful.
The brick circle with the white hydrangeas, blue salvia and pink gomphrenaand white angelonia is absolutely lovely! This is my favorite planting!
It helps that your color scheme is similar to mine. OH. MY. It is so lovely. Thank you for braving the heat and showing us around. Love love these beds!!!
It’s just beautiful! You and your husband work so hard to make all of your property so attractive, and everything is gorgeous! ❤️
I love everything about your chicken coop garden. It has the perfect blend of formal and cottage, evergreens and annuals, roses and grasses. If I had a sunny area I would duplicate this plant for plant. Thanks for the mini tour.
ua-cam.com/video/LwkTlVe5fYU/v-deo.html
Of course I love all your gardens but I think the chicken coop area leading to the cottage garden and down the wood walkway is absolutely magical!! So lovely!! ❤❤
I could move into that chicken coop for the view alone. Wow.
Laura, I love the whole chicken coop area; the bed in front, the little cottage garden & the pallet walkway. Love it!! This is my favorite area of them all!!
So beautiful. Love these mini tours as much as the long ones. I'll watch any length of video you put out. Great start to my day. Thank you. 💜🌺🌸🌻🐝
I think I like the mini tours even more than the full garden tour. So much info, it's much easier to get it in digestible snippets than an hour long video. Keep it up!
Yes coffee and a small garden tour is a nice way to start the day. I could tell it was getting hot by the end of the video so I am glad you kept is short so you could get out of the heat. I just love the look of the plants that you have around the chicken coop and in the brick circle. I also like how things get wild and crazy on you too and you are able to give us some tips on what needs pruning back. Mr. Rooster looked so sweet peeking out of the plants by the coop, he may have to get a riser so he can be seen all season long LOL
I just got back from my own garden doing some planting and stuff checked my phone and this is what pops up😅😊❤ such a great timing. These tours are such a great panoramic view on what should go in empty spaces and how will that look when they bulk up❤❤❤
Oh Laura! You have magical hands. I can’t believe that there was a root cellar there once and look at the same spot now! The chicken coop is so nice and the flowers are just amazing. I think heaven looks like your garden. Wish I could have a walk in your garden. Greeting from a huge fan from Suriname. 🇸🇷💚
The garden looks beautiful as usual!! I am getting plenty of inspiration!!😀
Don’t worry about your garden needing some tiding up, your gardens looks great and our gardens are in the same shape. Thank you for sharing your beautiful garden with us!
“Wisteria hysteria” here’s hoping you will be showing us a detailed tutorial on pruning our wisterias! After 8 years I finally had a dozen blooms...she’s established now...but I’m afraid to prune as I don’t want to loose next years blooms. Thanks for all you do. Take it easy you sounded a bit winded in this video. All the best , Leslie
ua-cam.com/video/LwkTlVe5fYU/v-deo.html
I just loved this video. The vibe you've got going in front of the chicken coop is exactly what I'm hoping to achieve. Expertly blended colors, textures, heights. Thank you for sharing a mini tour! You are so inspirational, and I have learned a ton from you over the years.
Pls do a garden maintenance video of this area showing how to prune and train the roses and the wisteria🌹🥀
ua-cam.com/video/LwkTlVe5fYU/v-deo.html
I like how you have work left to do on many plants. That is what gardening is all about! A continuous process!
I really wish the nursery in my area had more of a selection of plants in the spring. I have to plant the same ones year after year. And there were no supertunias at all! I think I'm going to have to find new places to shop! Beautiful gardens!
I get mine at Home Depot.
Thank you Eric and Laura for all you guys do to bring such beauty to our world. God bless you all...!!!! 🙏💖🙋🌱🌦
*Aaron*
So so very sorry...🤷 😜 Aaron, please forgive. Bet you got a good laugh out of that one. Well, they say that laughter is the best medicine...!!!!👍🤣💖 You two are so hard working. I only hope it pays you well. If only people could see behind the scenes, huh. 😅😤😋 Sending blessings, good energy, and love your way...!!!! 🙏🙌❤✌👍
@@barbarajarrell4093 I laugh when people call him Erin, lol.
Thank you for this tour! I always save them to my “plant” playlist so that I can later write down the flowers I want to buy. This one is chock full of pretty!
Lol me too!
I love your content. You're my go-to for anything garden related! You're so knowledgable yet succinct in your videos!
Yesss 🥰 🌿 looooove the garden tours !🤤🌸🌾🌺
Dikke tut (love) from Frisian (Holland)
Thank you, Laura! I prefer mini tours over big ones.
Thank you for braving the extreme heat for us. Here in S.E. Michigan, I complain when it’s 90. Cant imagine 100+😳 🥵
She doesn't get the oppressive humidity we get though.
Without humidity, 100 feels like 85 with humidity.
Always enjoy your garden tours. You have such a beautiful garden. I think you could just keep repeating the tour over and over and I would sit here with my coffee and watch it every time. lol Stay safe stay well.
Hi there! I would love a tour inside the coop! And maybe a separate playlist on how to keep chickens for beginners?! 😃. I have learned a lot from your channel! Thank you! PS: you have no bug damage! Can you do a separate tour sharing the different pesticides (hoping organic) that you use. My mom loves roses but their leaves are always eaten to skeleton!
To The Wayward Witch, I believe she has shared a video I came across, not long ago but couldn't tell you if it was a new or older video. All pesticides they use are organic except for a root killer, it was meant to do the job and unfortunately she tried other root killers that didnt work as effectively.
She's a big fan of Bonide product! 😊 It's usually the brand she recommends here, particularly the organic range. You could probably search something like "garden answer bonide" because Aaron usually links the products in the descriptions for us all 😊
Search for 'garden answer chicken coop' and the 'How we winterized our chicken coop' video shows what it looks like inside
Go to the Bonide web site, It has a detailed section on its products for both pest and disease control. Bayer Advanced web site has a good reference section for identifying pests and plant diseases.
I believe the holes in the rose leaves are from flea beatles,if you use a spray of BT in the evening you will get rid of them. I works for my 300 rose bushes.
Thanks Laura ! Wonderful garden! To see all the butterflies and bees enjoying it is awesome..🌺🐝
Question about adding non-annual things to your annual containers. I LOVE how you use confiers and/or perrenials with your annuals - but does the weekly fertilizing with the Proven Winners water soluable fertilizer hurt them?
I am curious about this too.
Laura, thank you for sharing your beautiful garden with us. It shows that you love what you do!
Oh Laura I am going to have to stop watching you 🤦🏾♀️ I am going to be bankrupt....this makes me want to go buy lots of roses 🌹 Love love love your garden. My family laughs at me because I always say “well Laura said... Laura did this to her garden” 😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃
😀😀 Ikr ,she's the best
It looks beautiful as usual. 🤗🤗🤗🤭🤭💜💚💛🧡❤💙💙💙

I refer to her as "my girl" and yes my family laughs at me also!
Good Morning Laura ..
Your chicken Coop garden is Bursting with Beauty and Color..
I really enjoyed the garden tour.
Its been super HOT here in Pennsylvania ..
Thank You for sharing and stay cool.
Hugs from Tammy in Pennsylvania.
Geez Laura, I love everything on your property but hate that I can't get any of those PW plants...😢
Denise Ramdeen order them on the Proven Winner website.
Order from Home Depot too. Check website in January. $45 order ship free; they ship in spring.
Thanks Jane and Cathy but I don't live in the States. I'm from the Caribbean, Trinidad and Tobago to be exact...😔
@@jgwood10 that's what I did to get my heucheras.
Denise Ramdeen oh I don’t think any company ships out of the states. Sorry you can’t get it.
В дизайне красиво сочитается белый и фиолетовый. Получается очень красиво. В этом видео чувство цвета природное. Это больше, чем дизайн. Это художественное полотно. Как в вышивке, тут прям любовь. Энергетика любви. Очень красиво. Beautiful and wonderful
Lol. Watched this on proven winners before you posted it 😆
Leaf cutter bees! I think that must be what got some of our plant leaves. Everything is SO beautiful! Thanks so much for sharing everything with us!
What chicken coop 🤷🏽♀️ it’s beautiful 😍
No leopard shoes today!
Thanks for the garden tour. Inspirational as always!
I prefer the tours without you going out first and "cleaning up."
ua-cam.com/video/7gG97wm5a2U/v-deo.html
Everything is so beautiful. Thank you Laura for not cleaning it up .So wonderful to be able to relate & encouraging us that all gardeners goes through the same.God bless you & your beautiful family
Oh how lovely!! I think I like a mini tour over one long video tour. It wasn't as overwhelming, and easier for me to visualize using some of these flowers and plants in my own landscaping. More please! ❤
Congratulations !!!❤
Darling baby girl.
Boy Laura you definitely plant beautiful flowers, both in containers as well on ground. Love your variety 👍❤
Again Congratulations on your adorable baby girl ❤
Enjoyed this mini tour! Don’t be so hard on yourself! Your gardens are all so beautiful! You are such an inspiration to all of us! Thank you for sharing all the beauty that you have created with the rest of us!!
Laura, you have such beautiful gardens! The chicken coop is super cute surrounded by all those lovely plants. You are an inspiration and an enabler at the same time...haha
Yea, you did link to the pot!! I should have known better!! You always please. Those are perfect for what I've been looking for!! Lovely planting as usual. You are such an inspiration!
I love the inspiration I gain from watching your channel! Seeing the areas in detail allows me to vision what certain plants would look like in my own yard! Thanks for all you guys do!
Thank you!!! You have inspired me!!! My skills are close to none!! Even my cactus die. It’s good to have you. Please keep on instructing us! I leve in 9B Zone and I need help with what can I plant down here!!! Blessings to you and your family
I love love love the brick circle planting! The chicken coop bed is gorgeous as well.😊
Yesss!!! Thank you Laura & Aaron for the mini tour it was beautiful! 🤗 Thanks too you guys I’m putting more plants in my gardens & I’m loving it! Perfect way to start the day! ~Linda
It was so nice to see this mini tour of the chicken coop. It was refreshing to see little things sneak past your diligence with which you approach gardening. Loved seeing the renegade weed and some gardening chores still not done. Your gardens are enviable 👏👍💚🌻😍🌿🌺🌼
Love seeing your garden in a more natural state (I.e. more like my garden). The colors are just so lovely. Lucky chickens! 🐓
Hi Laura and Aaron! Those beds are so pretty! I love all of the combination of plants that you used. The raised bed is the prettiest that you've done so far. Thank you so much for sharing! Also, don't worry about things not looking perfect before a video! It's nice that you talk about what you need to do, too!
Love the simple combination of the chicken coop window box!
These are my favorite flower beds of all. So pretty and full. The colors you put together are just stunning.
Everything looks wonderful. ☀️🌸
BEAUTIFUL....I need to work in my gardens, full of weeds just can't seem to find my love for my gardens these last months....at home.... but find myself staring out the windows instead of getting out there and cleaning up my gardens..but looking at your beautiful gardens WOKE ME UP....i am heading outside in the Houston heat to pull weeds and find my flowers hiding under the weeds. And I will be drinking lots of water cause i am not trying to fall out among the weeds....be blessed..stay safe....happy gardening. Thank you ...love your gardens....
Everything looks so great by the chicken coop Laura! You always do such an amazing job with the property. Thanks for sharing it with us💕
There is no possible way to pick a favorite place in your garden because around every turn there is beauty. Thank you for showing us how magical a flower bed can become.
I agree about your favorite combination of flowers in the circular flower bed! Gorgeous!!
I ADORE those container assortments by the chicken coop! 🌺
The cottage-style garden you've done around the chicken coop is my favorite this year by far! Love it! Makes we want to redo my garden bed... looks like I have a plan for next year! 🙌🏼😊
I just love that area of your property! It all looks fabulous as always. Stay rested and hydrated in that heat Laura.
There is not a flower bed on your property that I don’t love but the area you showed today is my favorite 😍! The colors you have there are my jam!!! And the flower choices are some of my faves. Thank you for this short tour and as always for allowing us into your world.
Look how wonderful that pallet walkway area looks. I have always thought that the pallet walkway video and how your approached such a project really endeared you and your channel to me.
Looking so pretty. I love the peach colour in the pots🧡 ...love those pots ...and love it anytime u put yellow with purple 💛💜...looks so cool. Those supertunia in the front look fab ...who would have thought they would stay small like that 💜🌿🌿
