    As a Mongolian, I can say we appreciate any help and donations. We welcome anyone here. But out of the struggle for power and influence between giants, we will make use of the situation for our own benefit. Mutually beneficial trade deals and businesses are most welcome. We're poor but we will sign deals.
    One thing we don't tolerate is putting us against our 2 neighbors. We are not gonna destroy our country like Ukraine did. We don't choose sides because you paid more. We've been coexisting without conflicts just fine, I think we gonna continue that. If you want us to be "independent", we as an independent nation, choose neutrality and peace. You can fight your wars in Europe, we don't care. Keep your morality in your "garden". Here in the "wild jungle," we're trying to develop without killing or getting killed.
    It wasn't directed to France or President Macron, it's for people judging us because we didn't choose their side.

      Yes, that the correct mindset to have.
      1 thing is Russia and China will forever be Mongolia neighbors so cordial relation is a must. For France it just short term due to Russian Ukraine war but what Mongolia need to consider is the long term gain after war.
      I see France act superior by saying help Mongolia but truth is they are in dire need of energy so Mongolia depend on the competence of their leader will stand to gain if done correctly.
      Problem is the importing route I am not familiar with it but there no establish route from Mongolia to France correct?

      Our business is their business we want to be less dependent on russia at electricity and gas. We definitely need west help to do this. This visit is freaking out russians. They event staged a protest against it at sukhbaatar square. Russia is so scared that we might build our own hydropower plant or even nuclear power plant possibly. If it happens this will cut off russian influence in mongolia almost completely. Our 2 neighbours doesnt want us to get stronger and independent on their own. While I appreciate the visit, especially the fact that most of us did not expect to see a Frenchman sat down with a Mongol discussing politics and wars. But what many Western leaders need to understand is that the world does not simply revolve around the West - for a landlocked country like Mongolia surrounding by two giants namely Russia and China, being neutral is best way to stay alive. Don’t expect the Mongols to choose sides just because you paid more or wanted to ‘steal’ the local natural resources, the last thing that the Mongols want is to see their country destroyed like in Ukraine/Syria/Libya. At the end of the day, many of the political issues in today’s world were caused by the West either knowingly/unknowingly and some of which can be traced back to the Colonial era.

    • @MayYourGodGoWithYou
      @MayYourGodGoWithYou Рік тому

      Most of the political issues in today's world were caused BY THE USA, often fighting a proxy war with Russia over some unsuspecting country instead of in their own countries. Or because a country has something that the US wants [Iraq = oil for example]. And because of their military and financial [via the US dollar which unfortunately is the main currency in use for international dealings] might the US can and has forced other countries to follow it's bidding. Not helped when you get hypocrites like the UK's Bliar who was more than happy to lead where Bush/USA led.

      A light infantry platoon supported by assortment of what should be static team-crewed weapon but now mounted on the back of vehicles are nightmare. Those technicals have much lower visibility range than the best of tank, them being armed with missiles or mortar launched loitering drones would put them equal with conventional force.
