What a stunning animal. I'd Love to do a dive near a great white. The best I ever got was diving in the shark tank in the Pattaya aquarium in Thailand. Small reef sharks etc. Thanks for posting beautiful footage.

A shark does not purposely attack humans, it only attacks humans when they mistake us as a seal, their natural prey. They are also attracted to shiny objects. Rings and necklaces and earrings are not a good accessory to be wearing while at the beach. Dogs and surfers also resemble seals in a sharks eye. Do not act in bias. Sharks are not that scary if you think about it now
You’re more likely to get crushed by a vending machine then get killed by a Great White. Vending machines kill people 4 times more than great whites ever do. These animals are beautiful creatures and are not movie monster flesh eating machines. great whites are more curious animals than dangerous. People tend to forget that bull sharks and tiger sharks are more dangerous than great whites. There are only about 3,500 of these great whites left in the oceans. They will be driven to extinction by 2040 if people don’t act now and try to leave these animals alone.

In these videos they never show people vomiting their guts out after they got seasick... I did, in 2010, same place, same boat, maybe different sharks... Best encounter in my life after meeting my later wife, worst experience in my life after vomiting in the shark cage!
Would really love to do this, and would certainly have the balls to. But i prefer the convience of watching this laying in bed, tucked away while having the lights on. 😳
Did this in NZ last year for my birthday....the visibility is generally better here than SA I’m told, we had 2 round our cage for a while about 4-4.5m,they were visible to about 12 metres.... unbelievable seeing them at eye level. It’s been banned here now so I feel lucky to have done it. Don’t get as many whites as you do in SA though so it’s not guaranteed to see them whereas SA you’re pretty much certain to see them

Everyone was losing their breakfast on my trip, the sea was so rough, but still saw a 14ft’r up close.. never forget that trip;)
