Dude what have we done to deserve such generosity, x-play everyday. Are you Santa?

@@newspooiechannel thanks Spooie claus
This show takes me back to when life was simple for me.
Morgan with glasses 💋 🔥
She looks cute in glasses, too. I could be wrong, but I think she wore glasses on Screen Savers more often than here.
Spooie, I think I figured out something here: It may be that the production codes used for the 2003 TechTV episodes were identical to what they used for #01-04 to #55-04 in 2004. I noticed "Extended Play" and "The Screen Savers" also used this production numbering style, though in the case of the latter, they started numbering each year from #101. I did some research in the Internet Archives of "X-Play's" episode history, and I noticed these particular episodes were numbered out of order from the airing sequence:
#160 - 'X-Play' at Tokyo Game Show 2003 (10/8/03; 61)
#161 - Japanese Gaming Culture (10/9/03; 62)
#162 - 'P.N.03' and 'Final Fantasy Tactics Advance' Reviewed (10/7/03; 60) It may explain why Morgan said that they were at TGS '03 in this episode.
#178 - 'X-Play': Inside 'XIII' (12/3/03; though of course, it was never counted as an official episode)
#182 - 'Rebel Strike,' 'Beyond Good & Evil,' 'SSX 3,' and more (12/1/03; 82)
#184 - 'X-Play's' Nondenominational Holiday Gift Guide (11/24/03; 81)
Episodes were often produced and aired out of sequence to air content when they would be out covering different events or to make space for some "Holiday" specials. There were also a few times when they just aired a few out of order anyway for reasons unknown to me. I found it impossible to get the first season's production numbers since G4 didn't post/air them all, so I cataloged them in airing order. I also remember that toward the end of the TechTV run, some of the episode titles changed based on games being moved from one episode to another. They'd put the titles up a week or so in advance at times and by the time the episodes aired, the title would have changed.
Yay! With commercials!
Thank you
Yaay for Xplay!
Wonderful channel. Thanks. Subscribed.
I hope there will be more episodes of the show you'll upload, Pooie. Thanks for the uploads!
It's actually "spooie" with a lowecase "s" --- and yes, more episodes coming. New spooie channel. ;)
@@newspooiechannel Thank you for correcting me.
All good. Thanks for watching.
@@newspooiechannel You're welcome, dude.
Not the first, won't be the last I'm sure.
Love you man, thanks for these
This was the very first episode of "X-Play" that aired on G4TV; airing on Monday May 10, 2004 at 4:00 p.m. EST/1:00 p.m. PST. When they re-ran the TechTV episodes, they gave some of them "G4-Style" titles. I admit, some of them made
me chuckle. Titles such as "The Sands of Crime", "Here Comes the Painfully Dressed Host", "I, Toy", "Viva La Dane Dance Revolution", "Spoiled Brats", "Gang of Five", "Because Shaq Says So", "Everything and Nothing", "Have It Your Way", and "It's All in the Cards".
I'm rewatching these and every single time Call for Help pops up I keep wishing it would automatically come on next 😔
A couple of things,
Billy Hatcher looks fantastic graphically. Especially the ending, clean, bright and smooth.
Kyra Dark Lineage was called "original". A word I forgot exists in the dictionary living in the year 2023.
And Adam saying men dream of fighting with b00bs and hearing the camera man letting out a laugh.
Also Adam says there's nothing he wouldn't stoop to to please gamers. Ironically 20 years later it seems the exact opposite. There's nothing he and Xplay didn't stoop to to alienate these same gamers.
And lastly, directv cuts the cable when infact they used the same cable to connect to their satellites which I learned personally when my dad switched from cable to sat to another sat and back to cable.
1:51 "Kirby - what is he?" well obvi he's an escaped Jigglypuff that fell in with the wrong crowd and cut off his cute little forelock. but at least he's free of that damn ball!
Love spooie
Looveed Kya!!
3:34 Emulation problems with Off-Road in MAME? That part always stuck to me.
A 4 out 5 for Kya: Dark Lineage, nice. Shame it never got a sequel or a TV series. The title character has such a cool design. In fact, it's basically Beyond Good and Evil, but slightly looks more kid-friendly.
Boo.
Billy Hatcher is my favorite Gamecube game.
Great choice, I played that game alot
Kirby air ride for the gamecube is a good game. 😀👍🎮
Upload some gamer tv episodes if you got some! Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! 🙃
Closest thing I have is one episode of 10-Play.
This was always a great show but it was never funny
