I lost my Dad last week. This song continues to give me strength to carry on. He will now be with my Mum in Heaven. Rest in Peace my number 1
Stay strong, I lost my brother a while back and it hurt a lot but it’s about perseverance through the storm and getting to the point where the lord calms the storm and shows you that you are safe in his presence. I feel great now, I have the Holy Spirit guiding me each day to strive to be more godly. Stay strong and bold in your faith and know you are loved every step of the way :)❤

My mom played this at night as I went to bed. I associate this song with the wonderful childhood I had and the love I received every day.
2007년에 어머니가 암투병중 제가 좋아하던 야니 곡중 in the morning light 를 병원에서도 더이상 손을 쓸수 없어서 집에서 모시면서 조금이나마 편안 하시라고 매일 틀어드리고 아들이 좋아하는 음악이라 어머니도 매일 틀어달라고 하셨습니다. 그렇게 어머니를 하늘나라로 보내고나서 15년이 지나서야 오늘 처음으로 다시 듣게 되네요. 반주만 나와도 하늘같이 높고 바다같이 넓은 마음을 가지신 어머니 생각에 너무 그립고 보고싶어서 들을 엄두가 안났습니다. 지금은 너무 보고싶지만 시간이 흘러 지금은 그때의 일을 회상하며 촉촉해지는 눈으로 생각에 잠깁니다.
This song was introduced to me from my Uncle who sadly passed away a few years ago.
It carried us through the hard times and after 2 years, I lost my Mum to cancer.
To this day it brings me sadness but also a nostalgic sense of peace.
It calms me, pains me and tears me up inside.
Yanni, you truly are a timeless inspiration. Stay strong all x

This song takes me back to the suicide of my dad. My dad killed himself almost 20 years ago I was 12 when he died. Not sure why but i think this song was just played a lot around the house during that time in my life so I associate this song to him. At least its pretty. If I lay here and listen to it the tears start and they don't stop I will forever miss you and wonder what you would be like now. You missed out on so many things and I hope you are proud of me dad. Love you miss you until I see you again.

Сколько же красивой музыки уже написано!!! Слушать не переслушать...жизни теперешней точно не хватит. Только в голове не совсем укладывается как такое творение - человек, мог произойти случайно?! Слушая такие шедевры видишь, никакой случайности здесь нет. Великий Творец хотел чтобы мы жили и наслаждались жизнью! Кстати существует всего 7! нот, а музыки уже написано бесконечное разнообразие и нет предела сему открытию! "Бог сделал всё прекрасным в нужное время. 2020 and this song reminds me of my mum when she battled cancer. She is gone now but this brings a soothing memory to reflect on how she still inspires me to this day. Cherish the time with your loved ones all x

My dad introduced Yanni to my mom, brother and me. Everytime the family went on vacation he was always playing Yanni. I know and love this music because of him. He passed away 10 months ago and I can't handle all the emotions I feel, only cry. I love you, and I miss you, dad, my best friend, guide and father.

There's something very special/unique about this album. When I have felt anguish in the past, I go to a place alone, watch the horizon (usually the ocean) and listen to "In my Time". Then, in a semi-conscious way, all the anguish go out if form of crying.
I can't explain it, but it's something related to feeling "safe" to let the anguish go out. The music transport you to a place in your mind where it is just you and the music, nothing more exists and there you can let all bad feelings go out.
Yanni's music had accompanied me in hard moments, and it's already a part of me. I will carry it with me "until the last moment".
