my heart beats faster :) Sunday&Monday 13&14 June 2021 was exactly in this area -2 very friendly MRL employees at the railway station office gave me some advice to make the most out of my days (as a foreigner obviously can't be too many times here) don't have a drone, just made one video of a coal train and a few pictures -sit there and observe is good enough -would be nice to return one day, if not, these days I will never forget -hope BNSF keeps MRL paint scheme, I like it a lot
Fantastic work Sir! I was lucky enough to be taken to Mulla Pass on my trip to the US in 2015, and this brings back great memories! NOt many trains on our visit but I caught a few at Skyline and the trestles. The shots at Oron Ridge were great and if I go back I'll hike up there for sure! Cheers Gregg.
@@Phoenixknight79 honestly we don’t know what will happen to the blue power. As far as I’ve been told all of the SD70ACe’s will be kept and have PTC added to them. Anything else is either going to be scrapped or sold. Hopefully the BNSF restores and donates the MRL 290 to a museum. But I doubt they will

Love the sky high shots in this video! Very nice.
Thank you very much. Good vid.
Thanks airing and sharing the outstanding video with magnificent locomotives. Railfanning endeavors are prominent. Bliss

Beautiful shots. That is one heavy train
Nice video. I liked the walkalong footage going up the hill, something a little different from other railfan videos I've seen.
Another super video so look forward to both your modelling and railfanning videos, your layout captures your videos , well done indeed sir
Thanks! Thanks for watching!

Great place. I have been there many a time. Great video.
Awesome stuff! You should do more railfanning videos, I really enjoy them!
Great video -- especially the drone footage. Very cool!
Kind of amazing to see that they do horn signals even for something that appears to be like an old covered wagon trail.
Appreciate the effort you made to make this video!
I'm going to miss the MRL

What date was this video taken? I might have been the conductor on that empty oil can.........
No way! This was yesterday (Saturday, December 30th).
@@railfan220 oh ok yea that was me then. Good to know somebody was catching it!!
When is MRL's last day on the rails... I'm trying to set a time to go out to Montana to photograph some of these units.
Our last day was yesterday.
@@MRL_4303 how soon will the MRL locomotives be gone, what does BNSF plan on doing with them.
