Oh Betty you're right; Coker has made these (and tons of other vintage Firestones, like SilverTownes, Wide Ovals, etc) for a few years. If you want to know why people fit Firestones to a 2CV? On my side of the pond (US), with a Brit-Spec '67 AZAM, we can't *get* the Michelin X in the states at a remotely reasonable price, or quantity. F560s came shipped to my door for $69/US a piece, carriage from the UK/Fr for four Michelin tires was 130 Eu. by itself; each tire was roughly that, too. I did find a supplier who was willing to ship me a minimum quantity of 25 for a better price; but c'mon. I'll replace these tires from UV and Ozone exposure before they wear out. It's a weekend toy, not a driver. My car came from an ex-Citroen dealer's personal collection in California. Fitted with F560s. Figured he didn't choose those by accident....

Yes the Firestone is Cheaper than the Michelin. But it isn't a Michelin so it just is not the same thing. It is like comparing the price of a banana to the price of an apple.
The Firestone F560 isn't made by Firestone any more. It is made by Coker. I have never heard of peolpe that fit the Michelin to a 2CV needing them balancing. Is that because the Michelin tyres are so much better?
