Ke30 Corolla finally gets its freshly rebuilt 3K engine fitted.

After giving the 3K engine a much needed rebuild, the time finally came to drop it back in the Corolla for good.

What are you using for the manifold gasket? I usually recommend Toyota part number 17172-13050 - three layer steel gasket for a 7K. However, it looks like Toyota has finally discontinued the part.

From memory it was just a generic one that came in the vrs kit.

It’s a factory colour from the KE55 and it’s called Kingston Blue.
