And not to mention he's implied to be Voldemort's great-uncle. It would be a very gripping story to see how he fits into the House of Gaunt and what happened to him when that family eventually met their demise 30ish years after the events of Hogwarts Legacy.

@@Quon I’ve done 3 play throughs as of now where I choose different options for choices and his dialogue will always reflect on the things you do it’s so fun following him around the castle 😭 it’s interesting too that even though he’s one of the main npc’s we spent the least time with, he’s the only one who constantly talks to us. I really wish we got to interact with him more, his character made me the most curious like I wonder what the wizard ig world is like for a blind wizard. My main question is how does he fly on a broom if at all

My first reaction to him was pure terror - I got sorted into Ravenclaw so didn't met him from the beginning 😅 He was trash talking my MC after Hogsmeade incident (at least I thought so) and when I learned he was on of the Gaunts I was horrified 😮 I thought he will be a small villain or something (silly me, it's Sebastian I should watch out for, ehkem very intensely watch out lol)
He revealed to be absolute sweet bean and I died of embarrassed for being judgmental... Also didn't noticed at first he's blind though lol I was so confused, though he was just purposely ignoring me. Now he one of my favourite characters. I wonder how much different dialogue I would get if being sorted to Slytherin
Same, when I saw the name “Gaunt” I thought he was Voldemort’s ancestor (but turns out HL takes place when Marvolo was already running around so he’s clearly a great uncle or something) and I definitely wasn’t expecting a (though admittedly slow to warm up if we aren’t slytherin) sweet, muggle-loving softie
I love how ominis is supportive of Sebastian, he warns him about the cost of dark magic, but when his friend confirm he wants to finish what he started, ominis don’t stay on his way. Even if this means he has go trough his child trauma again with império. What a friend

One of my *FAVORITE* things about Ominis is that we can just find him sitting on the floor and leaning against the wall in the Defense Against The Dark Arts Tower. I'm pretty sure they're animations unique to him, and its absolutely *precious.*

Man if we ever get a dlc or HL 2 where we can do the yule ball or date. That cute blind snakey mother f*cker right there. Ain't got interest in anyone else in the game. He's the coolest character in the whole thing
He’s a very interesting character. Born of the dark, but eventually renounced his evil family and the Dark Arts as a whole and surprisingly healthy (and poised to become surprisingly attractive as well) for someone with such an inbred family. And unlike his possible niece Merope, he managed to break free from the shackles of Little Hangleton (since he now lives with the Sallows). I really hope he survives Riddle’s killing spree to make his horcruxes, and I like to think that he left his family’s judgemental, blood-purist island and moved to America (or some other distant land far from the wrath of his family and Voldemort) after all this, making Noctua’s dream real by starting a new bloodline of good parselmouths.
My headcanon is that he moved to another country and changed his name too. And of course in my headcanon this foreign country is my homeland Hungary (because who tf would want to move to my homecountry, no one would ever think that he's coming here😂). But every fan has the right to put their own country as his new home (especially where he can blend in between the locals, I mean a blind, white man in a mostly black or Asian country wouldn't be hard to find).

Which is absolute nonsense, since Hogwarts is for the UK and Ireland, Beuxbaton (I don't know how it's written) is said to have students from France, the Benelux states (so Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxemburg), Spain and Portugal. If this is true, then Durmstrang has to educate more than half of my dear continent's magical population, and muggleborns don't even get there. I refuse to believe this. There must be at least one more big European school that somewhy isn't invited to the Triwizard Tournament and it accepts muggleborns too.
