I laughed so hard when you said you had a mind like an elephant. I’m 70 years old right now and when I was in fifth grade we had to write something nice about our teacher. I thought the same way as you so I said my teacher remind me of an elephant needless to say my teacher was not happy with me. I remember that day just like it was yesterday.😂
🥰 Brooke I wish I could tolerate your heat. I suffer from Hyperhidrosis and would melt in temps in Alabama. I have relatives in Dothan and visited twice in the 70’s and couldn’t go back. Way to hot and miserable for me. I live in Maine and hot temperatures are high 80’s and I have to stay in the air conditioning. The only time I don’t mind sweating so much is when I work in my flower gardens. I love playing in the dirt. It’s relaxing for me. I thank Lester for turning me on to you guys. You are one of my favorite farm channels. See you next time.
I think one of your squares should be a garden for butterflies and birds with flowers that are perennial, a bird bath etc and a bench. Don't forget the wind chimes ! Luv you both 💓
As I awaken this morning I'm thinking of CEPHUS & CASSIOPIA in HEAVENLY REALMS directly above us. " BIRTHING OF NEW" so maybe make one for the King and other for the Weaver of Time as your theme. Since you both remind me of them in your love story with your new castle 🏰
You two are such a riot, laughing so hard, love you 😍 all, the house is absolutely beautiful, I'm from Springfield, Missouri, I'm 72, have lost my parents and an older sister, so l am basically an Orphan, and am adoptable, and love animals, ha, ha, ha.
That was great made me smile. I'm also 72. My parents are also gone. But I still have most of my siblings.3sisters and a brother, I can't face losing any of them.
Can’t wait to see all your beautiful gardens. I love you guys and all your fun videos they brighten my days. Thanks for sharing your lives with us you two are a hoot! 😂❤️
Y’all’s live is one of the most entertaining lives on UT. I watched this morning and it immediately brightened the morning. What better way to start the day. Thank you!!
Jason and Brooke, I watched that video when they moved the little house and I gasped also when it tilted also. LOL I like watching you live, but sometimes it is easier to watch after the live because of things going on, and I can pause and not miss anything. Your garden is going to be just Amazing , you guys don't do anything without it coming out beautiful. Thanks for sharing your life with us, it gives me giggles insight and just fun keeping up with all you have accomplished in such a short time. God Bless and stay safe, Brooke I love seeing the puppy come see her mama when you are live or anytime, she is adorable. And Arlo too. I loved your short Jason when she stole the towel and was shaking the heck out of it, I laughed out loud.
I think Jason was really funny tonight! It was a really good live. I always enjoy them but tonight was especially good. I hope you have a good week & good time in Milton FL
You both are building my dream farm , I am so happy for you all there. My problem now is I am to old to injoy it now and I am also disabled now also. So keep living my dream for me. Thank you.
Great deer deterrent is Bone Sauce. You paint a stick that you have Already pounded into the ground and deer will Not touch your plants or trees. I got mine from Perma Pasture Farm after I planted an apple tree and the deer had it stripped in 2 days. They haven’t touched my tree nor my elderberry bushes. Completely happy with it.
Hi Morgan, I love your channel and your farm content. I have to mention the hammock and thank you for the laughs 🤣😂Toby is an amazing LGD and my favorite on your farm. Abby is more interested in getting her hugs and giving you kisses. Abby is obviously a very happy dog living on your farm. Take care.
I swear to my goodness, ya’ll are a hoot and a half 😂 If I’m down and out or in a bad mood, all I have to do is watch ya’ll. In a few minutes, I’m grinning from ear to ear or literally cackling like a hen. Thank ya’ll so much for bringing happiness to all of us. ❤ Love and blessings to all.
Thank goodness for Jason's expert lingo and 🐘 mind! Like a steel trap! Tinman! You guys made my morning! Brooke "that's how we roll"! 😆 So many zingers!
I love watching your videos, but I want to see you doing your gardens and projects!! Anything I watch I like learning from it. I would have liked to see you doing your new garden!!
I didn't get a chance to see you live but thank you for doing these live shows. I catch up to them as soon as I can. I just love you guys. I'm up in Rhode Island and I'm a bit of a recluse in a small apartment. I used to live on a small farm in New Hampshire when I was a bit younger. Now that I'm older I live vicariously through you guys!
I just watched it. Fantastic LIVE. Love watching you both. I love you 3 as well. |Thank you for sharing your life with us, Love and Blessings to you all. Doris, Penrith 🇦🇺🦘
It was good of the chap to send you pictures of the tiny house safe and sound in his new home. Looking for to hearing all about your talk at the Rosa bowl as I'm in UK so will never get to join you but love hearing all about it from other
My husband and I love watching your videos , you both are sooo funny and entertaining . We love watching your farm de eloping and Mary Carl with her birds . We live in Windsor , Nova Scotia , Canada .
I think most of enjoy your family dynamics and your just like a family member sitting down and talking with us. Brooke, I'm so glad your starting to look relaxed on your and MC's video! Keep doing you you guys. I'm proud to be called a Cog Squad member.
Love this crazy side with your personalities! I know for a fact their are natural deterrents to pests. Many mammal and insect pests don't like peppermint. You can spray the oil and/or grow the plants interspersed with your regular garden plants. It's a pretty plant, and a pleasure to have. You can propagate easily with cuttings rooted in water, so you get free plants! I'm sure you know marigolds also keep pests away when planted among your plants. Mothballs also repel I put them in jars with holes in the lid so pets can't get to it and get sick. Irish Spring repels deer too. I was wondering if one were to figure out the scents in the soap etc, combine these scents to develop a spray to apply. Cardboard or fabric could be saturated and hung around the perimeter of the garden. Make cute little boxes something like butterfly houses, to hold scented objects yet protect them from the elements. Irish Spring could have protective containers so it will last longer too! Wish I was younger, I'd try developing these ideas! Lol! Sorry to be so "wordy"! I eagerly wait your next videos! I appreciate your shorts but always wish for more. Lol!
Next t shirt: “Jason that garden is too close to the road for you to be peeing and pooping out there!” Y’all bring such joy and laughter! I’m still laughing.
Hi cog squad well done Jason. What looked like a difficult problem you made extremely light work of it. Your knowledge and ability is inspiring how you can put your hand at so much. Have a good week. 💕🙏
I believe that math can be challenging measuring your garden plots. I completely understand. The math can be complicated measuring my quilting projects. I have to draw it all out.
Love watching all your videos UA-cam are so much fun to watch love the way you talk. You guys are the sweetest people I enjoy everything to do with you guys on that farm of yours.
The day it got so frozen in your area, we had snow & cold winds up in Michigan near Ann Arbor! We left the next morning to go south & got as far as south/central Kentucky. Then the next morning came to Crossville, TN. Been nice & warm here except for the night time.
Love the way you all keep evertone up to date on what goes on at the farm and where you will be speeking. Hope you have a safe trip there and back home God bless you all
Brooke, you should hide and record Jason while he is reacting to the game. 🤗 This would be hilarious. Love your videos, the love that is your family just radiates throughout. 😘 🍁🎃🍁 🕺💃
I'm with Brooke when it comes to fans. My home came with one in the living room. The only time it is turned on is when I accidentally hit the wrong wall switch which sends a large amount of dust everywhere.
You know something, I have my favorite Vlogs, can watch them alot..But not the lives🤷♀️.BUT Janson n Brooke, hands down yall the only LIVE I ❤❤❤ to watch..Enjoy your shorts too...GO COGHILL 40..👍😃❤🌹
Have you drawn up your design for your portage garden yet? With the space you have available, I think you could incorporate the wheel shape to reflect the COG Hill name. In many such gardens there is a circular shape resembling a spoked wheel, and this could be a way to incorporate the name. If you are going to use timbers for edging, or some other rigid straight material, it would be so easy to make the cogs. If you use those cement blocks that you found around the property, you could easily make a circular area for the middle, or even one on each end. I have designed quite a few gardens in my 70+ years, and it can be so much fun.
The one thing I added last minute, before my walls went into my Hurricane Ida damaged house, at the beginning of this month, was a second icemaker valve for the garage! We’ve always had one refrigerator in the kitchen and one in the garage almost right behind it! But we never had icemaker valves even though we have refrigerators with icemakers! So when the plumber first came out I of course had the icemaker for the kitchen put in. But the day they were putting the walls in the plumber was able to come out and put a second valve in for the refrigerator for the garage! So that was my one big splurge!
I love watching your videos, I am such an animal lover and enjoy how you care for your babies. You folks make my heart sing. Thank you so much.

Jason you and the rest of southerners are great at words. You can change any single syllable word into a two syllable word. 😂
My mom used to always say " nervous as a long tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs "
Love ya’ll and all your pets and farm animals! May God bless all of ya’ll! Gma Lois in MN!
Thanks for another great live.
