An excellent story and brilliant narration! This felt like a prequel to "The Exorcist" where the doctor realizes he is dealing with something that is not medical science, but he has the contacts in the church to try to help. However he is smart enough to realize that he cannot be involved directly, he is not equipped to deal with a demon. I loved how he realized that the demon was deliberately trying to provoke him to anger and violence----a state of mind that would leave him open to demonic influence. The story also followed the lore and legend, in that the doctor thanked the demonic entity for speaking to him (always be polite to the devil) and then said goodbye and then left, deliberately severing any connection the conversation had started. (lore holds that you much dismiss an entity, sever your connection to prevent any lingering effect) The doctor even makes the point that he cannot be involved any further, and has to give it over the church. The story was very interesting and thrilling, very creepy. Wonderfully narrated! And while it stands very well on it's own, it leaves you wanting more. This would make the beginning to a fabulous book or movie. Like some other people who commented here, I had thought that the story might be a dark comedy---where the devil actually decided to have a conversation with the doctor. To tell him a few truths about life and death and souls. That would have been entertaining, but this story was very chilling and very good.
Are these just stories? You've got a way with words there's only audio and I'm shitting myself. This is 1 of the best story tellers that's on UA-cam!! I look forward to hearing many more of these. Bravo good sir!
Very well done, replicated the personality of a demon eerily well. Only a couple of things, 1. A priest teaching sound doctrine would never say that there are just things that are mysterious and unknowable, they would probably rather say that there are things we personally might be unconfident in what we know, but we must trust divine revelation when dealing with these things, 2. A Church would never just take somebody's word for it if they said somebody was possessed no matter how well they knew them, especially if they weren't clergy, 3. It's actually extremely difficult to get an exorcist to personally deal with a case because of how few there are (only 80 in the entire United States) and thus they would not only be extremely skeptical, but also would investigate the situation themselves because they had been trained specifically for that. While it had been the case that every priest was an exorcist, that is no longer the case and the duty to appoint an exorcist lies exclusively with a Bishop. Otherwise great story, I really enjoyed it.
I know many will not want to believe this but this demon is the exact same one that haunted me as a small child. He had glowing red eyes and would lay scraping his horns together as if sharpening them on my childhood bathroom floor at night. I was raised Methodist but after a profound NDE where I saw Heaven and Jesus, I began to go to old timie Pentacostal Churches, quite by accident, at first. There I learned how to cast out devils and bless homes on my own. It is actually any born again persons right as a child of God to do this. As far as the demon from my childhood, he was brought about by so much tragedy, hatred, fear, and anger in a household that was dealing with too much. A little child was an easy target. He left even then as a child after I had learned how the prisoners in the Bible set themselves free by singing.

Yes! CreepsMcPasta is a great narrator but I think that NaturesTemper and Dr. Creepen deserve at least as many subs as him. A team up with them would be so awesome I'd have to change my underwear after watching their video :3

That’s one helluva original story! As you’d imagine psychiatrists probably get an inordinate amount of patients claiming to be possessed and otherwise. And probably 99% aren’t anything. But then there’s that 1%, the one that makes them reconsider their jobs and their lives. Poor guy. And I feel even worse for Lucia. 😢😢

In those quite moments of regret ,conversations arise , one of which my dear mother would speak of her early 20s . A single mother with a roommate . Her roomie told her of a neat parlor trick , she simply would have to lay down on the bed , chant a few words and she would levitate. ( She was never a party girl ,very reasonable and I'm mid forties now , very different time ). About 3 years ago , I went to stay with her through some hard times and one night in tears she said " I didn't hold anything in my hand " I could feel her desire to get something of her chest so I acted accordingly out of respect and curiosity. Eventually she began to tell the story again... The price was simple ,hold a gift ( anything ) in your hand as payment or the soul of your next born. I had left the concept of religion at 17 , chalked it up as fairytales and ignorance and set out on my own ( searched for my father who was driven away by her incessant greed). I found him a few towns away and reconnected . It was good for a moment , he let me enjoy being young ( I had been working construction off & on since 9 & home schooled myself graduateing early with a few collegic prep courses under my belt ) I was smart but very respectful . The ( view yourself as a grain of sand ) thing was very good for gaining the knowledge I craved , the cause and effects of interaction ( psychology ) . Kinda obsessed with why & the repeditive cycles of man. I had already seen a fair share of misery but it escalated quite quickly. He's girlfriend stole my car and disappeared , after some calls to her family , found out she used to smoke crack & some addresses where she could be. We turn down the road near first destination and Bam , there was my car coming the opposite way , I jumped out at light ( I didn't know what to do ) she got away. I eventually got my car back but my savings and my father's where gone. We decided to move back to FL and start over. Things started to look up again . New job , new truck , my own new home ! It was the middle of the week when I got a call from NC police , they said I had warrants for my arrest . I'm confused as hell , they would not tell me what for. I assumed it was for a car accendent I was in before moving , but my lawyer Cycil Whitley was taking care of that... The upcoming pay check was going toward my tag for my truck and I assured the police I'd be there bright and early Mon. Morning ( expedition via police sounded kinda shitty to me ). I show up and before I could finish saying hello I was on the ground in the station being cuffed. ( My mind is BLOWN ) still 17 FYI. They walked me into a room with several folders open , each one had pictures of people I knew ( hung out with ) they asked me and I answered but I still had no idea what's going on. The only reason I occasionally hung out was because a few I'd went to church with and they left too , couple parties and meet girls . Then I get my paperwork. More than a dozen Felony charges , ranging from gun running , b,e and even possession of stolen property ( I just drove in ? ). I'm thrown in jail with 250,000 bail. I call my dad , they put up a family home bail and I eventually got out ( month or so ). Everyone assumed my guilty ( I was born with chiuahua dna I used to joke , always been figity and anxious ) I guess I understand now. No one help so I had to be a detective , I proved all but one charge false ( had turned in an application at McDonald's on a day I was supposedly robbing a home on & on ) But one day I couldn't prove where I was ( I'm terrified ) . My lawyer said that a not guilty plea would result in a $25, 000 jury court but I had no evidence and I should just plead guilty to this one warrant ( one day with 3 felonys ) I would only get probation and community service. I couldn't risk my family getting hit with that sooo.... Time for court.... Simply put it was election session , the media claimed I was the gang leader and... Only white looking person. The judge said something like , we need to make example of you. 3 charges , 1st 9 years , 2nd intensive probation with $30,000 restitution 3rd alot of community service all to be boxcared (no grouping it up). So started the course of the unnamed demon and it's battle with a clueless Dudley do right. I still don't believe after a million pin pricks ( this isn't even 1% of the bizzare tragedies ) I haven't read a book ( even the bible ) or seen a movie where one person is plaqued this much , from 2 years of Norwegian scabies to random assaults , decade long friendships turning on me , the constant sacrificing for unearned guilt , blood , sweat tears anquish lies betrayal by all , even stealing my stories and retelling them to my face as if there there's . I'm tried now... And the current state in society makes it unbearable. I refuse to be the monster and I think that may be exaserbating the situation. This is not fiction and I'm not a writer , I just worked my guts out hiding from another event but this new phone racist stuff has cost me my job & now my apt. Have you ever been circled by 2 dozen crows staring at you stepping in inch by inch in silence , have street lights go out on you every time your alone at night , I just killed a dozen rodents in my very clean apt. And no one else has even seen one ( left a few in a bag by lanlords office for proof but nothing ) . It's probably just me on this one but I can't open my eyes in the dark anymore , there's so many shadows moving so fast everywhere. I may not believe in God's or demons but the abyss is real as fuck and it won't come off once you fall in.

I actually agree there was a surge in popularity of those types of movies for awhile n some of them were just total garbage.
More recently though there's been a couple interesting twists on the idea like Ava's Possessions.
But most of those kind of horror movies don't really scare me as much fascinate me anyway cuz I don't believe in God or the Devil but I like demonic movies cuz they're just fun usually.

Deadass listening to this after 2 years or so. And this, this scenario, I would absolutely love to be in this scenario as the psychiatrist. I'd ask so many questions and get a truthful answer to them...
The devil soon got pills.
In those quite moments of regret ,conversations arise , one of which my dear mother would speak of her early 20s . A single mother with a roommate . Her roomie told her of a neat parlor trick , she simply would have to lay down on the bed , chant a few words and she would levitate. ( She was never a party girl ,very reasonable and I'm mid forties now , very different time ).
About 3 years ago , I went to stay with her through some hard times and one night in tears she said " I didn't hold anything in my hand " I could feel her desire to get something of her chest so I acted accordingly out of respect and curiosity.
Eventually she began to tell the story again... The price was simple ,hold a gift ( anything ) in your hand as payment or the soul of your next born.
I had left the concept of religion at 17 , chalked it up as fairytales and ignorance and set out on my own ( searched for my father who was driven away by her incessant greed).
I found him a few towns away and reconnected . It was good for a moment , he let me enjoy being young ( I had been working construction off & on since 9 & home schooled myself graduateing early with a few collegic prep courses under my belt ) I was smart but very respectful . The ( view yourself as a grain of sand ) thing was very good for gaining the knowledge I craved , the cause and effects of interaction ( psychology ) . Kinda obsessed with why & the repeditive cycles of man.
I had already seen a fair share of misery but it escalated quite quickly. He's girlfriend stole my car and disappeared , after some calls to her family , found out she used to smoke crack & some addresses where she could be.
We turn down the road near first destination and Bam , there was my car coming the opposite way , I jumped out at light ( I didn't know what to do ) she got away.
I eventually got my car back but my savings and my father's where gone.
We decided to move back to FL and start over.
Things started to look up again . New job , new truck , my own new home !
It was the middle of the week when I got a call from NC police , they said I had warrants for my arrest . I'm confused as hell , they would not tell me what for.
I assumed it was for a car accendent I was in before moving , but my lawyer Cycil Whitley was taking care of that... The upcoming pay check was going toward my tag for my truck and I assured the police I'd be there bright and early Mon. Morning ( expedition via police sounded kinda shitty to me ). I show up and before I could finish saying hello I was on the ground in the station being cuffed. ( My mind is BLOWN ) still 17 FYI.
They walked me into a room with several folders open , each one had pictures of people I knew ( hung out with ) they asked me and I answered but I still had no idea what's going on. The only reason I occasionally hung out was because a few I'd went to church with and they left too , couple parties and meet girls .
Then I get my paperwork.
More than a dozen Felony charges , ranging from gun running , b,e and even possession of stolen property ( I just drove in ? ).
I'm thrown in jail with 250,000 bail. I call my dad , they put up a family home bail and I eventually got out ( month or so ).
Everyone assumed my guilty ( I was born with chiuahua dna I used to joke , always been figity and anxious ) I guess I understand now.
No one help so I had to be a detective , I proved all but one charge false ( had turned in an application at McDonald's on a day I was supposedly robbing a home on & on )
But one day I couldn't prove where I was ( I'm terrified ) .
My lawyer said that a not guilty plea would result in a $25, 000 jury court but I had no evidence and I should just plead guilty to this one warrant ( one day with 3 felonys ) I would only get probation and community service.
I couldn't risk my family getting hit with that sooo....
Time for court.... Simply put it was election session , the media claimed I was the gang leader and... Only white looking person.
The judge said something like , we need to make example of you. 3 charges , 1st 9 years , 2nd intensive probation with $30,000 restitution 3rd alot of community service all to be boxcared (no grouping it up). So started the course of the unnamed demon and it's battle with a clueless Dudley do right. I still don't believe after a million pin pricks ( this isn't even 1% of the bizzare tragedies ) I haven't read a book ( even the bible ) or seen a movie where one person is plaqued this much , from 2 years of Norwegian scabies to random assaults , decade long friendships turning on me , the constant sacrificing for unearned guilt , blood , sweat tears anquish lies betrayal by all , even stealing my stories and retelling them to my face as if there there's . I'm tried now... And the current state in society makes it unbearable. I refuse to be the monster and I think that may be exaserbating the situation.
This is not fiction and I'm not a writer , I just worked my guts out hiding from another event but this new phone racist stuff has cost me my job & now my apt.
Have you ever been circled by 2 dozen crows staring at you stepping in inch by inch in silence , have street lights go out on you every time your alone at night , I just killed a dozen rodents in my very clean apt. And no one else has even seen one ( left a few in a bag by lanlords office for proof but nothing ) .
It's probably just me on this one but I can't open my eyes in the dark anymore , there's so many shadows moving so fast everywhere. I may not believe in God's or demons but the abyss is real as fuck and it won't come off once you fall in.
