I love Jarno because he isn't over the top, he isn't shouting at everything he is very relaxed. it's great to see him doing good in the game, but then funny to see when he does something silly and messes up. Overall though he is just a good personality, he drew me in with his driving ability which I saw on Quadrant and then I stayed for his likeability.

Then all I remember was Jarno trying (and ultimately failing) at a few lunges and aggressive moves at COTA and instantly becoming a fan, he just stood out from the crowd. Honestly never expected him to go on the be the champ two years running though. To be fair to a lot of the other esports drivers, they seem pretty cool too, Marcel Keifer, Lucas Blakeley, Joni Tormoloa etc all seem pretty chill, not sure why so many comments seem to think Jarno is the only cool one
I also think that part of his succes is just being normal. not screaming all the time like a lot of other f1 youtubers. at least that's one of the reasons why i prefer him
Thanks, this is constructive criticism - most people would just say hold this L lol. The narration wasn’t optimal as i don’t script most my videos and i didn’t invest so much time as this video was an experiment to see how well this format would be received. People seem to be enjoying it so my next attempt would hopefully see an improvement to narration
Yeah, he doesn't get enough love. He's very good at teaching and I think has a better overall personality. Jarno hides it well but he's had moments of arrogance and douchebaggery just like other esports guy.
Not true, for example Bredon Leigh and David Tonizza didn’t grow as much as Jarno to begin with despite their titles. Winning titles is only 1 ingredient to his success as i explained in the video

The best person at anything will get an extortionate amount of more folowers then No.2 because their fame is majorly tied to their ability to do something no one else can. Jarno is peaking at 19k viewers PSGL Round 2, did Lucas even get 1k. A camless, micless, Brazil practice stream at the end of the game cycle from last year bagged him 5k. This success is completely deserved by Jarno but it is MAJORLY driven by his ability to be and come across as the No.1 Jarno has put himself in a position for continued success no matter what happens this season. But if Lucas wins esports on merit this year I don't expect Jarno to continuing hitting those same heights. I am fully invested in seeing Jarno winning his third esports title, and if it doesn't happen he will most likely plateau to a more successful Kiefer.
Yea in almost 8 to 10 years, jarno is what 2 years and he has already half of aarava subs, dont get me wrong I like watching aarava way more then jarno jarno is super skilled, but aarava is just super entertaining on his own.

On top of that, he is a very mediocre driver (just look at the content creator race not so long ago). Only playing against the AI is also something thats gets so boring.
I cannot stand Jarno or his cringeworthy glory supporting of Mercedes, only ever drives the Merc which is the best car. His paddle shifters are so loud in his mic and completely ruins every video. He always complains and sandbags and purposefully crashes into people online. Overall awful.
@@dubs9426 I used to love his vids, but when he started doing SO MUCH MODDING it became horrible for me. he also does not have the coner cutting rules other people like tiemetmarduk do, and it feels artificial because it seems like sometimes he breaks early on purpose and locks up, goes into the side of someone ect just to have some drama. I like Ben MUCH better these days
