Absorbable sutures material is used for skin closure in subcuticular stiching in cesarean section surgery. we have to remove only the thread and knots seen at one end or both ends of stich line, just pulling a small portion of suture thread out.
If your health provider has used non absorbable sutures for skin closure then it has to remove completely or else you should talk to your surgeon if it is not doing any harm if remaining under the skin.
