If you don't use the eco tank regularly, the tubes will get clogged. You then have to do a deep clean which wastes A LOT of ink and squirts it into a sponge in the rear of the printer. A sponge that is not replaceable.
There is always a twist with these ink thieves. If you ever find a good printer, let me know. I've bought an HP 5 or 6 months ago, and it's going into the trash. Never HP again.
You can actually remove the cartridge, that holds the sponges, wash them n reinstall. You will need to open the cartridge. One thing! You'll need to reset the internal page counter using a program to reset it. This program requires a reset key, which costs $10. I've reset my ecotank twice already. I own an Et 2750. It's a great printer, especially once you learn how to reset it n wash its sponge cartridge. :)

I bought one in 2020 and it printed great at first then I didn't use it for a long time now it prints faded and I attempted to reset or clean the whatever and now it's not working! So it's sat there since 2020 collecting dust

They’re all bullshit they don’t work worth a damn and they won’t let you print black and white If you don’t have color cartridges in the machine. Do not buy this piece of shit product. You have been warned
My ET-2875 can print dobbeltsided manually. But only whole documents. That is if you have a 100 pages document you can not only print 10 pages . I assume this is a software error but the agent seems uninterested to alert the manufacturer. The software is App epson smart Panel
