- Many Shades of Autumn in Srinagar !
I had been dreaming, thinking and hoping to travel to Kashmir in every season. And while all the different seasons in Kashmir bring their own charm, the autumn comes with a very distinct flavor. When the leaves start turning from green to a golden hue, it marks the onset of a period where the whole Valley is draped in the carpet of red, orange, and gold.
University of Kashmir campus is a well-known fall attraction. Naseem Bagh,jiska literal meaning hai “Garden of Morning Breeze,” is the most mesmerizing area of the university, especially in the autumn. One of the most tranquil places, Nothing can match the beauty of this picture-perfect garden with its hundreds of Chinar trees.
With the majestic Zaberwan Hills in the backdrop and pristine lakes and beautiful gardens dotting its landscape, Srinagar is the gateway to the paradise called Kashmir. But now it was time to explore the lanes and streets of downtown, through a thoughtfully curated Downtown Legacy Tour. This is an initiative to promote the art and culture of old Srinagar, by offering the real flavor of Kashmiri culture with its traditional crafts, architecture, and old Shrines/ Temples

Kashmir looks to be awesome in autumn when leaves turn from green to yellow, orange and golden in colour.. Jammu has its own significance and importance as has been declared as a heritage city by UNESCO.. It really requires a couple of days to stroll around, just to have a feel of rich heritage of Jammu.. It is sad to learn that you had some medical problem and had to give up in between.. Anyways, health is more important.. Waiting for the next episode Abhishek..

This episode is pure magic!!!!!!!!!! I'm speechless and having goosebumps after watching this. Waise to Landour, Almora, Ladakh, Vietnam, sab ek se badhkar ek hai... But this episode will be closest to my heart now, because bahut hi kam waqt mein, the psychological impact this episode creates on the viewer is indescribable. Kitne hi sentences sunke laga jaise kafi significant life lessons ko bahut hi simple se shabdon ki surat de di ho.
And the way, the maple leaves falling and on the ground, and the narrow lanes of downtown are captured, it seems like we're teleported to a surreal world. It's the finest example of cinematography and a life lesson, where a change of angle, and manipulation of traversing speed makes the surrounding appear million times more beautiful!
While talking about Kashmir, one thinks of Dal lake, mountains, snow, etc... But this was the side that I was unaware of, and I'm sure many are.
This episode was like a perfect beginning of the festive season, gifting the art to bend the perspectives, and become more positive...
