Hey matt! Ran into the issue that my car had a belt cut so took them out and thru them away and planned to do 5 points, BUT it's a street car so wanting to do factory style so I'm happy I found this video because my local pull a part has only 4the gens so I cant easily or cheaply get 3rd gen belts so guess who's going to pull a part?
you can’t trust the factory gauges they are barely good enough for a factory vehicle. it is a great tip that fourth generation fbodys seat belts are a good swap

It is interesting how much of the 4thgen parts bolt into 3rdgens with little to no modifications.
*A few of my 2nd Gen Squad installed 4th Gen seats because they recline. I plan on doing the same in the future.*

I dont like telling people how to do things but for maximum effectiveness of the stock belt, it should be looped through the bottom of your race seat.

The hole the shift light you put in is from the ashtray light.
I saw that under there too, but there was a screw hole as well.
