This is so awesome, I love seeing everything come together. But to call this simple is almost an insult because this is one of the most detailed pieces of art.
Hi, I really like your videos and im new to sculpting with polymer clay and I bought some Super Sculpey Firm as my first medium. I watch a lot of vids just to get an idea for techniques but one thing I've noticed is that everyone's seems to be more firm or dry than mine, so doing things like stop cuts or anything that involves more precise things with tools makes my clay smush and stretch and bunch up instead of carving or smoothing no matter how gentle I am. I can't find any reason for this or methods to firm mine out more that aren't just drying it permanently in the oven, or am I doing something wrong? Do you have any tips for this?
Thats wonderful i'm glad you started on this hobby! Supersculpey firm is just version of the original with less oil. If you want to make it more firm you need to remove some oil in it. You can do that by flatten a handful of clay and place it between pages of a book. The paper will absorve the oil overnigth. Give it a try😁
