They are not similar to Dexcore, they are just from the same music wave, Visual Kei, but in Visual Kei you can find almost everything. ;) The Gazette has many diffetent songs, heavy, softer, ballads and in diffetent styles with different genres, can you react more of them?
I'd love to do some more from them! I just have to find a way along the copyright stuff. Even with the music video blurred this one is blocked in Japan.
@@davidpwolfe Because it's always like that with japanese music. :/ Japanese labels apparently don't understand that bands have free advertisement in this way, and that labels can earn more money... There are many great bands, I love Visual Kei, I listen many of them. :)
@@davidpwolfe Hmm... If you have strong nerves, I recommend song "Taion" which is tribute song to Junko Furuta, victim of horrible crime at the end of the 80's... It's song from 2006, I especially recommend live version from 2007 with english subs. Musically and vocally it's not that good like "Blinding Hope", but this performance is amazing, climate and realistic of this song is just... But before you will listen "Taion" you should know Junko Futruta story, but like I said, only if you have strong nerves.
Oh yeah I've read about Junko before. It was a terrible thing that happened to her. It's even scarier that some of the people who killed her still walk free. It would certainly be interesting to check it a song about it!

Like I wrote, it's not that good from technical side, The Gazette formed in 2002, on the begginings Ruki was bad vocalist, but always very emotional, he worked so hard to be great vocalist, now he is really great. But song "Taion" is so dirty in sound and Ruki's vocal fix perfectly to this, and in his screams is so many pain... I heard this song and this live performances many times, but I still have goosebumps when I listen it.
The Gazette!!! I always get so excited seeing reactions to them, and yours didn't disappoint :') They're one of my all time fave bands for sure. I was always the kinda person who hated cleans in metal, hated ballads, etc, but they really made me more open minded about it and I appreciate a lot of music a lot more now because of them. I play bass and wanted to join a band for awhile too, and Gazette were / are a /huge/ inspiration for me. I always had them in mind when writing songs. I know copyright's a bitch, but I'd love to see you react to their song Deux (live or official video), Dogma, or maybe Ugly if you can! Every album sounds completely different btw. I thought Blinding Hope was a great song but I'd give their recent album a 6.5/10. I think Dogma and Ninth will remain my faves for a longgg time; they're perfect, especially Dogma! Sorry for my rambling comment, this band just gets me so excited lmfao.
Oh, also! Another sick metal / vkei band to check out is Jiluka! Try doing some reactions to them, they're super underrated imo. Some songs to check out: Divine Error, MAD, Ajna, and Lethal Affliction ! Their guitarist is insanely talented.

Defiantly need to check out some older gazette, they've said this was they're simplest album they've ever made. And this they're tenth album.
