+Mayesh Wholesale Florist Hi Beth! love this tutorial! how would you know how much material/flowers you would need in order to price this out for a bride or event? I feel like this is the biggest challenge next to creating this sculpture. Hey! Thanks for watching. You are right, recipes for designs are one of the hardest things to do. Especially when working within a given budget. I think that experience in making designs like this are a huge help at gauging the amount of material and figuring out what to charge. It IS art, so I suggest charging appropriately for it as an art piece. Not just flowers stuck in a vase. The hardgoods are another expense to keep in mind. For this design we used about 100 stems of green callas and the foliage that comes with it. 200 roses, 10 hydrangeas, 10 mini callas, 10 dahlias and other misc. fresh items. The core of it consists of the callas and roses so you could vary the rest of the design. You could also scale it down and use less. Hope this helps!
They are beautiful according to their own existence and colours, but I prefer those that have been "thought of" and "studied upon", those of European 'origin' - that have the "creation" for each piece of work, not just "piled together"!

WOW!
Nice, too bad Mayesh does not deliver the same quality of product to their retail customers.
Many years later and this design is still breathtaking! How far in advance would you begin construction on a design like this?
