I have a 33 gallon tank in my sedan, what’s some ways you’ve used this to conserve water while not slowing down your work? I’m trying to brainstorm some ways to make it work smoothly, just need enough for one vehicle at a time right now.
Also, where did you get that yellow plug that’s in the 30A slot
I was pulling less than 14 amps with my 3.7 and close to 15 with the MJJC foaming. I was able to run the unit, my golf cart charger and 4 ryobi 40 volt batteries charging all on the same 20 amp circuit. Not sure why it was pulling so much for you. Maybe it was having to self prime a lot more due to the gravity feed?
Thanks Gary! Would you have to get a bigger generator to start the active if you wanted to have air comp etc going prior? Or will you just start active first and then other tools that don’t require as many amps to start? Thx man!
Thank you Anna. Honestly, I think something else happened maybe because that’s a 30 amp circuit and the active 2.0 only takes 15 A and my compressor takes around 10.
With your hose reel did you ever experience the hose and reel starting to shake real bad when running the pressure washer ? I’m using a Uber flex hose on mine and it’s shaking like studderinf when I spray the trigger , and I notice the pressure coming out kinda studder a little, it’s gravity fed as well
@@StaySlick hmmm idk what I could do , it doesn’t shake at the pressure washer or the whip hose it’s only after the hose reel
first world problems indeed 😂
great setup
Great~ you also got yours. I got mine last week but haven't washed my car yet with it. OG recommends 5.0 nozzle, what do you think? included 3.7 is good enough?
Did you get any psi and gpm readings from the active 2.0?
I’m on my second one, first only 800psi, second only 700psi.
Is it something wrong with my house?
I have a dedicated 20A and the house pressure is good.
Congratulations man!!
Glad to see it work while it being gravity fed, I didn’t have such luck with my CAT 1800.
Thank you brother. Most pressure washers should be able to be gravity fed as long as the water outlet is at the least level with the input of the pressure washer.
I have a 26 gallon tank and I was thinking it might of not being enough weight-maybe. But I did place the pressure washer on the ground while keeping the water tank on the truck. I even tried to be the widest hose hoping for flow to go through better. I’ll continue to try and make it work tho. Thanks for your feedback, I appreciate it.
Could you pull length and width dimensions of just the base? I plan to try and fit this on a 10" deep x 16" long shelf.
@@StaySlick I wish it was. For some reason Active does not list dimensions within the manual or on the webpage listing. No problem, The Clean Garage has a picture of the PW on a shelf of known size that I can use for scale.
Do you have a vid of how you set up your gravity tank?

Gary I would easily fix the problem with the plug having to reset it every time your about to turn it on I would honestly buy a simple replace the plug from Home Depot their like $4 I did it to my sun joe I would have the same issue works just fine now no issues at all
Just a heads up, that as you are free to do that, it waives the warranty on the unit.
@@ACTIVEPRODUCTS It seems like an unfortunate design choice. Doesn't even make sense safety wise as the plug would disconnect automatically if there was a problem.
I was considering purchasing this unit but I have my pressure washer mounted and plugged in out of the way in my garage so this may be a deal breaker. I know I could use an extension cord, but that is probably less safe.
@@StaySlick I don’t have a link I kept having the same problem with my sunjoe I just decided to cut it and put a replacement plug no problems works just fine
Thank you for this review!
Thank you guys for an awesome product
