She knows that the decisions made in the past have made some things about climate change completely irreversible, but she offers options to how the situation can be approached in the present to prevent the whole thing from becoming even worse. She's talking about concrete actions that need to be done in order to achieve this, and then she explains the positive effects that these concrete actions will have. Yes, she's expressing her wishes, but she is also giving and explanation of how to make those wishes become a reality.

My gov decided to ignore environmental flood measures given them by local experts. The effects are still being felt four years later. Not only is it a disaster its a disaster that should never have happened. She's talking about concrete actions that need to be done in order to achieve this, and then she explains the positive effects that these concrete actions will have. Yes, she's expressing her wishes, but she is also giving and explanation of how to make those wishes become a reality.

They cut jobs and barrier controsl to the extent bridges collapsed flooded homes are now uninsurable, towns were cut off people off work emergency services overstretched elderly people waiting in the dark hoping to be rescued. Not only is it a disaster its a disaster that should never have happened. Then its all about catch up with pre set budgets unable to cover the costs causing cuts to other programs like education healthcare infrastructure.
Literally everything. Look at Notre Dame, there were people who wanted money to prevent it burning down for YEARS... did the government help? Nope. People have to and only after it is burned down.

The fact that coal is limited, and will not last humanity forever.
These are just a few of the reason I support making decisions to help our earth. It’s all we have, after all.

Conservatives have made not wearing masks some kind of war cry of defending freedom, and Liberals have used it as yet another excuse to further ostracize conservatives. When you think about it, wearing mask help both parties (people die less AND the economy reopens faster) but a couple key conservative leaders decided to make the country spilt on this issue. Look at so many places across the world, the idea of wearing a mask isn't even in question, it's just common sense, just science. Yet here, it's partisan, and we stupidly argue about it while people die and our country's economy and infrastructure is devolved to shambles.
