      I find many recipes from the link provided but I don't know which one Ms. Shim's cheesecake is based on? If you have a direct link to the recipe she is using, please provide it. Thank you.

    Thank you for your upbeat & inspiring cheesecake video. I've made quite a few cheesecakes in my day, but ALWAYS dreaded the reveal of the crust after the bath baking. Sometimes soggy. Sometimes not. Always took great care to wrap pan carefully in TRIPLE layers of foil. No matter what-unreliable outcome. So, I set out to find out what you young whipper-snapper bakers are doing about it. And, voila'! You have the answer. I feel rather feeble-minded for not thinking of a waterproof oven bag for guaranteed dry crust on my own. Genius! You have no idea how much anxiety you're going to spare me in the future. I am deeply grateful.

    I’m making this recipe (except I added a side crust and a berry syrup swirl) and it already looks so much more beautiful than any past attempts (although mine is still cooling down so idk how it’ll turn out).
    Love this. Will keep watching.

      8 ounces is the size of one block of cream cheese. It looks like she has 4 blocks, so 32 ounces (2 pounds).

    Have you ever tried making a cheesecake using a sponge cake crust? Very popular in NYC. But rarely ever heard out here on the West coast, that unless, somebody migrated from NYC out to here. When I tried it almost 2 years ago, I was hooked! Junior's Bakery and Restaurant in NYC is definately famous and most popular for particularly this kind of cake crust and I want to introduce it out here to more people, that who are originally from the West Coast! Thank you!

    The problem I had when watching the video and then going to all recipes to see what I would need to do measurements and all. Problem first timer here and I could not find what temp to bake my cheesecake. So I watched some other videos and saw slow heat cook better. So I would like to say. After the crust was cooked then it should've said leave the oven on at 325 that is how high you will bake your cheesecake. Thank you mine came out as good as her and tasted wonderful.

    • @jeffward24
      @jeffward24 11 місяців тому +1

      She did say 325 for an hour and a half and then turn it off and leave the door shut for two more hours.
