Was thinking for best seraphim explanation but wiki explains it the best actually :D - The Seraphim are a special type of Pacifista units developed by the Marines' Special Science Group with the intention of replacing the Seven Warlords of the Sea as one of the Three Great Powers. They are living weapons built as clones of the former members of the Warlords, mixed with King's lunarian Lineage Factor and augmented with the Devil Fruit power-replicating Green Blood.
I think kalgara looks like a fun deck to play from the deck lists and gameplay ive seen, but a major selling point is how cheap some of decklists are, which will be really big for new players looking for a deck to play
Love hearing you talk about the art and piecing together the plot from it lol, I got into Gundam by working backwards for games and it's always a fun experience to get into stuff like that. Would love art videos by themself sometime, especially if you wanna branch out to YGO/Digimon card art, there's a lot to love.
I don't know if I'm tripping but I think these new egghead cards might be a viable new theme for Sabo, you can do egghead/Seraphim/strawhat. There is a searcher for egghead (seraphins are eggheads too) and straw hats and several good cards, this new Nami/egghead can be used twice this skill because of Sabo, Seraphim mihawk can easily reach 7000, the egghead stage that makes it possible to attack and activate your character again so that in the next turn you can use his ability and value the possibility of giving another 2000 power to another character, Franky and Usopp, a good 2k counter that can be found by both Nami and Egghead's searcher, This Usopp can give 2k to a character which makes it easier for them to reach 7k, sometimes you don't have that 1 don left, you have Nami who attaches don, Seraphim hancock who buys time and several straw hat red rush cards that can enter in the next turn such as Sanji, Zoro, Luffy who can attack together with her and value again the ability to give 2k to an ally character, and as there is Luffy it is possible to have his child even if he is not searchable because you will being able to easily find the adult version of the red and yellow Luffy for 5 costs with strawhat and Egghead searchers.
In terms of the art talk, I don't know if I'm alone on this one but I really do appreciate it. That being said, I do prefer a more natural approach like you are doing now instead of having a dedicated section for it. Best regards.
The seraphims are clones of warlords of the sea. Part of their contract with the gorvernment to let Vegapunk experiment on them. They all also have Dna of King/Alber cuz he was captured as the very last child of his race for experiments.
I haven't seen a Yellow Deck that interests me much yet (I have tried so hard to make ST13 Sabo work), but Kalgara has my interest. Just getting big bodies down early and for "free" and swinging face is my kind of playstyle.
He seems to be getting some decent early results as well. It might end up being one of those decks that has a strong matchup all around, but when it high rolls and gets the perfect curve it just goes off.
While it works best in BY Linlin, I saw Charlotte Angel as working more in Pudding than mono yellow Linlin, since if you have one face-up life you can use this effect to take that life away to use leader effect and then get the life back later Also, for Nitro, you can use it with the leader for the extra 2k dmg instead of only 1 don, and it will be a pseudo-blocker, since they’ll likely get rid of it next turn so that you don’t get more out of it The downside would be that they can use their low power chars to deal with it… So while not great, I believe it deserves at least a little more credit imo And yeah, Noland is part of the Kalgara combo, 6 don turn attack with leader w/ 1 don to play Kalgara from leader eff, and then play Noland with remaining 5 don, and it will nullify the life cost to play out Kalgara The downside is that he is unsearchable…
Your score for Nami seems a little bit too high imo. You need to have few cards in hand AND have a trigger to discard among them? It does not seem that strong due to the stipulations.
I love the content, but I gotta disagree with you take on S-Snake. As someone that got into the game after getting caught up in the Anime and Manga, I absolutely love when cards effects are inspired by the Lore. I actually wish more cards were more lore inspired.
The flavor of all the cards that simply don't work on Luffy is a bit annoying. Even in the context of the story it doesn't make sense because Luffy isn't the only thing immune to Boa nor does his mere existence stop Enel's logia. It just creates stupid gameplay scenarios.
