I don't blame you for going back because that's your choice but if that's me, I wouldn't go back regardless. Once that door is closed, reopening will mean you never left in the first place. I heard truckers life is never ideal. I have friends and relatives who were truckers as early as the mid 80s where all of their lives ended in shambles except one guy in my town who was a long hauler trucker for 7 years died of liver cancer. To the lady in this story, I hail you for your bravery, guts, and confident! A 30 years marriage is worth sacrificing no matter what people say. You be your own judge and do what is best for you and the people you love, not to satisfy other's desire.

For all the ladies… if your man does you wrong like this. Play nice… don’t let your anger get the best of you. Take all the money from your joint account. Then file a divorce, get a lawyer involved. Get part of his retirement/401K and alimony/child support. If you own a home, ask the judge for it too. After that, close that chapter DON’T look back, DON’T try to “get even” because it’ll only hurt you. Focus on you and your kids.

Peb ua neeg nyob don’t believe your partner too much. Sometimes we have too much trust that at the end it’ll be just like this story. I have been there done that. We never really know our partner’s way of thinking and what they’re hiding deep in their heart.

She took the money from her in-laws as safe keeping for them so that she can help with their funeral someday. She stayed for her in-laws because she cared and felt badly for them (in other words, she's sacrificing her own happiness). Her in-laws did stipulate that if their son cheats on her again, then she can run and take all the money. If she took the money and ran just to keep the money, then she would bring bad karma onto herself. If at some point she decides she cannot stay anymore, then she needs to give the money back to her in-laws.
Good story.. the truth is because you still love your husband too that's you went back its not the money. The money was to buy you back and plus your love was still there for your husband for you to be able to except him back into your life. Wow, you are a smart lady. Every decision you made is right, except the decision that you get to keep your parent-in-laws' money. The money is an insurance for you, but remember it is not yours. Legally it is their money, unless there is a legal well stating that you are the trustee of it.
Majority of Hmong people only have verbal agreement but nothing is in legal paper. That is why so many Hmong people have so much problems in life due to no Legal papers to proof that they are legally part of the ownership. Good luck.
