  • The Bloedel Conservatory, nestled at the summit of Queen Elizabeth Park, is a domed haven of lush greenery atop Vancouver’s highest point. Inside its climate-controlled environment, tropical birds, koi fish, and over 500 exotic plants flourish.
The conservatory was established in 1969 thanks to a generous donation from Prentice Bloedel, with the mission of fostering a greater appreciation and understanding of the plant world.
Recognized as a heritage building, it is co-managed by the Vancouver Park Board and the Vancouver Botanical Garden Association.
