    Hey everyone:
I did OT ask him to do this. Self promotion isn't my bag.
    However...
Thanks for doing this, That's really cool and I appreciate the effort. Seriously, Thank you.
My Brother, Roy, will be taking over the channel and will spend many hours boring you with his own anecdotes and life experiences. He spent many years as a boy scout leader and since he's from the Willamette valley, he's one of the few people whose spent more time standing around in the rain than I have.
You are indeed fortunate to have a video archive of some of your father's work. My father was a man of wit, humor, and wisdom. I lost him a few months ago and I can empathize with you.
And again, than you for this presentation.

I have been subscribed to Paul Harrell for the past 6 years. His "shatneresque...pauses" never bothered, nor did I notice them much. He quickly became my favorite youtube channel for his wry witty humor and his in depth videos on very specific topics that no other firearms channels cover in such detail. I've learned a lot from his wisdom. I am glad hus brother will be continuing the channel and I pray for Paul, his wife, and his family.

I lost my "father" to cancer last year. He was actually my grandfather. But he was the first and true father figure I've ever had. I couldn't visit him while he was on hospice. Last time I saw him I knew it was a done deal. It's the first time he called me son. The last words I ever heard him say was "I love you my son." When I heard the pain I could relate. I understand why you cut out the vulnerable parts as we aren't supposed to show weakness but every man who knows the pain of loosing the man that molded them know exactly what you feel. It's that pain that in a way keeps them alive and shows how much meaning they had in this world. I hope one day I could be atleast half the man he was.

I subscribed to Paul Harrell's channel for James Henry Thomas, my dad, who lost his battle to leukemia just over 14 years ago. I wish daily that we had the foresight to record his wealth of knowledge, his wisdom, his humor and his stories to hand down to my kids and theirs to follow. He was a soldier, a structural designer and a guard in his professional life. More importantly, in his personal life, he was a child of God, a husband, a father and a friend. I miss him more than words can express but cherish every moment he gifted me to make me the man I am today for my wife and kids. His voice is always in my head guiding me to be a better husband and father. God bless you, Paul Harrel and thank you Admin for pointing us to this man. Paul, I will lift you up in prayer for peace and, if not healing, strength and freedom from pain and time for you to spend with those dear to you.

As a new dad myself I have been reminiscing on my own father in a different way than I have in the past. He died when I was 14 and I have gone through various ebbs and flows of grief as my life has changed over the last 16 years. I believe that losing a parent is a lot like losing a limb, nothing is ever really the same, you have to relearn how you will operate in the world, and there are those phantom itches where you think “I should call him to ask about that”. This is a reminder to all of you out there, love and honor those close to you, and shower them with appreciation while they are here. God bless

My grandfather died of cancer last week, cancer is a absolutely horrible thing and is one of if not the most brutal reminder of our frailty as humans. However it is also a great reminder of and driver to The Cross.
Aaron, your father, my grandfather and all others who call upon Christs name and cling to what was accomplished on the cross will never truly taste death even when we physically die. For this earth is not our home, we are just pilgrims in it!
None of us know Paul’s heart except for the Lord, but hopefully he is a fellow believer and brother in Christ! If that is the case then Paul will actually achieve victory in the end and will be exactly where he was created to be! This truth is extremely helpful to me although I miss my grandpa as I type this.
I will truly miss seeing new videos from Paul, he is a great guy and an amazing educator. I hope we can get him to that 1 million subs! Praise the Lord and screw cancer

His demeanor is great and he is a great storyteller, Paul could read directions on the back of a tv dinner, and I would listen intently, hanging on to every word. storytelling seems to be a fading art form.
