    Another super video but I would use the label you attach to the carboy as a second sorta kinda log. I use the label to record the dates of any actions I have taken as well as the ingredients. So I can see exactly where any carboy stands in the process simply by looking at the label. Double book -keeping perhaps, but the advantage is that the wine log is great for thinking about the NEXT batch , the label is perfect for thinking about THIS batch. (and rather than use a sticky label on the carboy I use labels with wires that I can attach to the handles of fermenters or carboys or can twist around the airlocks for those carboys without handles (3, 5 and 6 gallon)

    Keeping records is a pain. When you don't keep records & create a brilliant recipe that you can't recreate its heart breaking
