    The sleeve is called a uri sleeve. Also, the pet house training sheets from pound land are good or you can get them on eBay as well

      I have tried puppy training pads, but unfortunately they don’t seem to absorb my thin output, and it just runs off them into me or the floor

      Hannah Hodgson the huggies bed mats are quite good too. However, they are on the pricey side for the amount. Have you tried the reusable ones? I enclose a link. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Washable-Reusable-incontinence-Bed-Wetting-Pads-Sheet-Absorbent-75-x-90-cm/183747814413?epid=27030908314&_trkparms=ispr%3D1&hash=item2ac839240d:g:HdEAAOSw0lhcmORZ&amdata=enc%3AAQAFAAACcBaobrjLl8XobRIiIML1V4Imu%252Fn%252BzU5L90Z278x5ickk8Fd9si%252FIbtWQr%252BhnlRwjDS2Kk2Jo5lP1PqcBjBTIF4kxmZRRHiINushmMvJ4asF6uHtPJx6QAxAK5PR%252FnMxQdUeHpNEA7OikfJomU7nA%252BHit5iGwzy0wIzREdWENHf46dJSuzg5rzkBOF3Xy8c8NTJi%252BeYynCRJx%252BN2e56isjMqVSiIT1lH0m7IeccERSDp8ZzrjJ7zouRdMOyTqS0E%252BI1t2oRet1c4JGubb7rpyLoN3Ia4NvogZ3Iwji6%252F%252B%252FA8lSe%252FDm56ZnBWmKix1itHSrRufoNkKukdLkWjJCGTHSidGERXdGFqyIjvJ8SbpFAAE2Ysn3ZzhQkibiEfNErjgN8M18hcXOC%252Boo9NmhZUSs%252FDLNI%252F3WnOimDuwcpY546%252FCFX3nYlcnJrl2NzsB2z58ko1nXjEYIqbs7bM1xyHYasV%252F9JQy7ZmHuQ01RGYm0GlMhxMFAYp%252FVLp7gf4wCJ7C1XRNBvLwSDSuGLs6SAroFJmGGj5GHDR9AM2KkOeoq3uTnIuzp5zZvsOCD3s5juXDchjKvhlCsWKV7pM2QX8wizMNfSE%252B%252FFlqsd3RgSiq0PbpmZwNaDhU5WDUN6bnJCitGTsihThj47T9z%252FIPWpFjqpkrB9fpk%252F3M3mLTYdZH9X3hmCnGnBB2ou7RfK4Tdy6WHA8zlVcxTVGcgKdbs6Ta4Eo3Qe1lp4wH911SQHMlroSjEm6sFTr1tz5lAwKhvyjJP5E2sMUZhfKGL0BrVOhGr5IeeYCLiHXBoZoBGWwRYwZavIX82ZM10A0R%252FW3%252Bwjccvw%253D%253D%7Ccksum%3A183747814413c85d888eb98f41d6a9b28c6864e9fc19%7Campid%3APL_CLK%7Cclp%3A2334524
      I also use bath sheets one on top of the other. That way they match my bedding too.

    I’m with coloplast Charter for my medical supplies & they don’t seem to offer the sheet protector things, but I know Bullen Healthcare does, so it might be worth looking into changing supply companies if you can’t get them prescribed! xx

      I’ll have a look. I really like coloplasts’ products so I might just look into other ways of getting them prescribed or buying them in bulk! Xx

      Hannah Hodgson i understand that, that’s actually what I did haha as I didn’t want to switch either when it was suggested to me, but thought I’d let you know it was an option! xx

    What have you done non medical wise to decorate your room so it feels more homely and personal to your style? Also is your bedroom downstairs?

    • @HannahHodgson

      I have a little lamp which is a house which is cute. A large picture frame and a wallpapered feature wall. My bedroom is upstairs but we have a stairlift. We're moving house at some point and I will be completely downstairs. x

      Hannah Hodgson It's nice you've been able to personalise your room so you don't feel like you're in hospital! I can relate to how difficult it can be to find room to store medical supplies especially when you receive several months of supplies! Often I wonder if the prescriber ever thinks of where you're going to keep everything they're writing up for you?! I've found the Ikea wardrobe system and drawer divider tubs good for storing and organising my medical supplies plus usual wardrobe things like clothes and other bits and bobs. My label maker has come in very handy too.

    You don’t have a port or pic or anything? Why did you choose not to?

    • @HannahHodgson
      @HannahHodgson  4 роки тому

      I chose not to because I’ve been on TPN before and suffered liver damage . If I had the picc line I would also be at increased risk of sepsis, which due to my immune conditions would probably kill me. Plus I have had permanent lines before in arteries and they are very scarred now, so it would have to be a central line (an even bigger deal). Using subcut needles is the best solution for me at the moment. I’m doing the things I would be doing with safer subcutaneous lines, Does all of this make sense?
