#wildlife #ukwildlife #nature
Gives me hope for the future of UK 'wild' life, it is many humans that have a wild nature.
What a wonderful tour you have just given us. it was great to see the wildlife. I would certainly like to see more like this.
A lovely video in a beautiful part of our country. We have so much to be thankful for.
Thanks for faithfully recording EVERYTHING even if it’s sad. It is all IMPORTANT. “I’m the gift that keeps on giving, aren’t I?” I would say so!!! This came out on my birthday as it happens…🎶syncronicity. Super best wishes on your MARRIAGE, OMG!!
what an awesome adventure. i am glad i have people such as yourself to watch and go on adventures with, i am a nature nerd stuck with no garden, and only managing to get somewhere amongst nature a couple of times a year. i have no parks near me, and nothing i can get to easily, so watching your channel helps me feel close to the nature that i love so much.
on the positive side, i do have window bird feeders, but they go through spells of not coming, - especially if its too hot, like when we had the heat waves.
Thank you Liam, for taking us on such a wonderful adventure.
have yourself a great week. 🙂🤓👍👍
Awesome video, I love the grass snake art at 21:41. Beautiful birds in this video. It's so good to know, that the numbers of some of the bird populations are increasing.
Thank you again. Your trip was lovely to share. Jan
Thanks Jan. It was a great trip but did take some effort to film and put together, so I'm glad you enjoyed it. Cheers
Thanks Liam, I thoroughly enjoyed that adventure. I’m looking forward to the next video. Take care.
Loving the adventure Liam. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
I really enjoyed that! Thank you.
Thank you, im glad you enjoyed it!
This was such a great enjoyable video to watch, great info here too 😀
Glad you enjoyed it! thank you.
TY Liam, 'meaty' content, easy narration and music at exactly the right volume.
I really enjoyed this. Keep up the good work. This are my favourite type of video on your channel
Thank you!
I really enjoyed that adventure, I felt that I was there I got so into it ☺️ thank you Liam
A fantastic enjoyable video Liam. An interesting, laidback mixture of wildlife and engaging presentation. Cheers
Sorry for being late with the comments, but I only recently found your videos. Keep up the great work and do more like this. I thoroughly enjoyed your videos.
A great vid. Thank you.
Thank you!
Thank you Liam, brilliant informative yet relaxing video so more like this one would be great👍
Great video, really useful to see the birds in their natural habitat, and to have them identified. It is fascinating and I formative to a birding novice :-)
Wonderful stuff, Liam, and very informative 🙌🏻 Your choice of lovely tranquil background music works really well too 👍🏻
Another great video. I’m fortunate enough to live opposite a similar type location here in Western Aust. Many different and similar wetlands and woodland birds to be seen on our daily walks. Blessed!
Wungong park, Haynes WA
Loved it 🙂 Great locations, filmed well, very informative and easy to watch, and a bit of humour too. Love to see more! Thanks 🙂
Loved this video! Thanks for taking us along. Hope you can do another one like this soon (not that I don't love the shots of wildlife of course!).
I quite enjoyed the longer length of this video Liam.
exellent video plenty of interesting places thanks for sharing
Thank you for this wonderful adventure. I'm fascinated by the Fens. Thanks for mentioning wheelchair accessible hides. My father, who was wheelchair bound, was recorded back in the 80s using a new hide, for Does He Take Sugar (which incidentally was presented by a guy from Norwich). Is it known why the rabbit population has dropped so acutely? Ah yes - I also saw my first hummingbird hawkmoth this summer! Thanks again Liam
Brilliant video, well done! I would like to see more videos like this one.
Fantastic really enjoyed the video thanks
Some great shots of wildlife. I'm so jealous you saw a few green woodpeckers. I'd love to see some but never have, but great to see them on here. I liked seeing pied wagtails too, don't often see them in nature areas near me, but they are cute the way they scurry around on their tiny legs. Really cool to see spoonbills too, watching them forage with their huge bill is a great sight- is that RSPB site one of the best places to see them, or were you just lucky that day?
I really enjoyed this video. Yes ... PLEASE do more of these wildlife adventures. Thank you for putting these videos together. I have learnt so much from them and find them absolutely inspirational. I am a total beginner when it comes to being able to recognise birds. As for Frampton Marsh, this is only a few miles from me and I visit every now and again. I must take my camera with me next time I go there. It's an absolute gem for bird spotters.
Well done Liam I really do enjoy your videos and this one has been spectacular. I suppose we don’t really realise how much time you put in the field to get the footage not only that the research you do to educate us. I thank you very much keep them coming I enjoy them so much and when I go out with my scope I’m a bit more clued up
This was an amazingly good watch! Gosh, you did a lot of walking but you saw lots of lovely wildlife on the whole, to make it worth it. Looks a wonderful area. I have just watched this video as the rain pours down, the lightning flashes, and the thunder booms, here in south Dorset. Already I have forgotten what those long hot summer days were like!! Autumn is upon us! Thanks for a great video and for taking us along with you on your trip. Really enjoyed it all. 💯👍🙏
Suckler cows are best avoided, they will protect their calves. The bull is less of a problem whilst he is with his ladies
Most enjoyed! We all love nature especially the knowledge of it you have given is fantastic.
Great video bud, thanks
Thank you for sharing your wildlife adventure of the UK country side. Amazing shots and you have an extensive knowledge of birds and their names.
Nice video! Kind regards, Rolf
And here in the usa, I've only ever seen pigeons in cities. Never even seen one in a suburb.
I've seen a kestrel rob an owl in mid flight and seen them teaching their young to hunt on the Lincolnshire Fens. We have buzzards and red kites too it's generally crap for song birds because of the farming but water birds do well here.
❤
Deeping Lakes is in Lincolnshire, Deeping st James, follow the river back towards the village for more wildlife psst there are otters. Also Frampton extends across the road into the farmland where you can sometimes see Merlin. You can get into Dole wood. It's a small but pretty nature reserve but you might prefer Bourne Woods. Also it's worth visiting Vine House Farm nearby, the farmer does all sorts of stuff to encourage wildlife. There are barn owls & marsh harriers very nearby to that camp sight.
This was worth the wait. I enjoyed your nature reserve trip. Thank you for sharing. I think the only other thing I was hoping for was that there would be some underwater shots, but oh well, maybe next time. Some of the terms you use aren’t familiar to me being I’m in the US, so I had to stop the video to look a few things up. Looks like you had a really nice vacation. It’s interesting getting to see so much of England. Thanks again for sharing your trip with all of us. Good job!
Fantastic! Loved going on this adventure with you! What wonderful places there are to explore in the UK - thank you for showing us these parks and nature reserves and where they are on the map. Poor little squirrel over-heating - that made me smile. Love the plovers - we have so many different species of them in Zambia where I grew up (one of the best countries in the world for birding Liam - if you ever get a chance to go:))
it was such a treat watching you talking about wildlife and birds. Thanks from Pakistan
Really enjoying your channel and the way you present the videos. My only suggestion would be to upgrade your camera or export in a higher resolution/ bit rate if your camera is capable. It looks really grainy on the 1080p premium setting on my 65 inch oled. I know that's possibly a big investment though if new equipment is needed and certainly didn't detract too much from me enjoyment of the video. Thank you so much for sharing
Alex
Love this video, thank you. Yes please do more like this. It was very relaxing watching it, so thank you once again.
Love you videos. Great to get top places I would really like to visit.
Brilliant, I hope you do visit some of the places and have the same sort of experience as I do. Cheers!
Hi Liam, Thank you for the great videos
Hi Phil. Without people like you watching, there would be no point in me making them. So thanks for watching and thanks even more for leaving a comment (as that helps youtube to recommend the videos to more people).
I really enjoy your wildlife vlogs Leon, you should do more.
Do not worry about your photography skills Liam, we all enjoy your videos and commentary. Keep on doing these videos!!!
Thanks Mark. I have several more lined up, a kingfisher fact file will be next and after that a weekend in cumbria, amazing landscapes, lots of wildlife and a tiny bit of luxury for me accomodation!
Your enthuasium for wildlife makes these videos so good & intresting. I really like your channel and if you keep posting, I will keep watching.
Thank you for taking the time to make this most excellent channel. I can really see you going places in wildlife broadcasting! I can't wait for the next video, nice one bud!
Another great video - thanks!
Thanks Liam. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Great video Liam thanks
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
4 hours to go 80 miles? Do you mean round trip?
No lol. The roads are very good here and there was a whole lot of traffic.
The fens deserves more attention! Cheers
The trouble is our roads rail and bus services are crap they should have put HS2 through Linc's and Norfolk.
@@ddoherty5956 really do not be a unt you my friend is a troll, as you have just joined UA-cam
@@northpeckhamestateoldschoo2947 do you have any ability to communicate in English?
@@ddoherty5956 yes I am English born in Waterloo London you unt left out the c just for you, muppet 💯😭😂🤗🏴
Lovely video Liam. 32 degrees temperature sounds pretty good to me right now, given it’s now Dec 23 when I watched. Loved that Hummingbird hawk moth. All the best. ❤👍
Thank you. Although I think your calendar might be a bit wrong, it's only the 22nd at the moment (or are you trying to get away with celebrating Christmas early?)
@@AShotOfWildlife oops yes sorry!🥴🤣
Terrific Liam. Really enjoyed that, even though I've had to watch it in a few instalments due to being so busy with all and sundry at the moment. I do like your relaxed and slightly quirky (at times) narration and pieces to camera. Interesting to see that you visited Deeping Lakes. My Mum spent a fair bit of her childhood in the Market Deeping / Deeping St. James area. I've only visited the area once some years back for the funeral of an elderly spinster relative at the Priory Church of St. James in Deeping St. James. 👍👍👍
Cheers Graham. In hindsight I should have made this video in 2 or maybe even three sections but thats the thing with hindsight, always too late.
I didnt mention in the video but the island at deeping lakes has a colony of long eared owls in the winter so I will be going back in due course! Interesting to hear of your family connection to the area, its a beautiful spot!
@@AShotOfWildlife Oooh! LEO's!
Nice film.
Your dragonflies I think we're migrant hawkers. ;)
What a fantastic documentary. I really enjoyed the video. There was a lot of wildlife on display, I can tell you really enjoyed yourself.
Thank you for taking us with you on your adventure. That was amazing. Wow, so much to see! Absolutely loved it all ❤
❤️ watching this whilst eating my porridge 🥣 & 🫖. Very relaxing. 1st I saw a little egret was just outside Morecambe & up a bit. I was in the 🚗 with hubby during a caravan holiday in Morecambe . Was disturbed by a 👩🏻 letting her German Shepard off the leash. I was rather 😠. I’ve seen one 14miles away from my town of Stevenston to the North Ayrshire town of Largs. It was so beautiful 😻. 👍🏻 video. Have a nice 😊 week
Thank you so much, I really enjoyed joining you on your adventure. Shame about the sick bird. 😞
I didn’t know we had hummingbird’s here in the summer months. Great video Liam. 😘😘
Loved it Liam 'of the future'. Thank you for the excellent content. I live fairly close to Frampton but im new to the area and haven't had the opportunity to go. You have inspired me to arrange it. Thank you.
Wildlife parks? Watching narrowboat vlogs, the cuts and "rivers" over centuries, have been made unnatural by greed. Mention the railway being built cutting through history from pre dinosaur age to Roman villages, to medieval, and nature reserves
This is an amazing country but so are all the others in our nation. When I was young egrets and spoonbills were exotic creatures and lapwings were two a penny. If there’s one bird that shows how careful we should be with our waste it’s the moorhen, I've lost count in the amount of nests I’ve seen decorated with plastic bags. My wife and I once saw 7 kestrels in a field near Martin Mere.
I like dunlins, you can get really close and they seems so busy going about their business. The avocet came here during WWII when they flooded Minsmere.
We all like to see the rarities but I’m not a lover of twitching.
Bird flu isn't good at all, that was sad to see.
Unfortunately Frampton doesn’t look too disability friendly, which is a tad annoying when you consider a massive portion of RSPB membership are either elderly or have disabilities.
Ill informed animal activists and very poor breeders have caused a lot of damage with the released mink. Yes it it wrong to breed an animal in awful conditions just for its coat, but theirs areas where the released mink have decimated out wildlife.
This is your best video yet in my opinion, and that’s saying something. Congrats on the moth.
Liam, you make super programmes. Many thanks for doing what you do.
Head out to the west country bud, before it's too chilly. Slimbridge is a great wetlands reserve. Saw two pairs of common cranes and some cattle egret recently and many acrobatic choughs and a few porpoise down on the coast. Loooking forward to your next trip.
Liam, gets yourself to Horsey and get on one of Ross's wildlife boat trips. If you don't enjoy it. I will pay for it. Make sure you go when Ross is at the helm.
your accent is so similar to hampshire
Brilliant video 👍 I look forward to seeing some more,I love the scenery and the bird footage
Aaron this suburb, I have seen egrets and oh I forget the name of the other bird. It's a heron. And we actually had a heron in our backyard eating the fish in our pond.
Good morning, love your videos. What a gorgeous place, it looks so peaceful. I dont mind cows (I wouldn't have gone through there though), but sheep really give me the willies for some reason. I had a juvenile Sparrowhawk take a sparrow in the garden a couple of weeks ago. It was amazing to see, best regards.
Yes I enjoyed the style of video very much. It takes a lot of work to put together... thank you. I appreciate the maps, campsites, car parks, and locations being included. Just a suggestion, I think you could possibly have split it into a 2 or 3 part series. Although, it was quite relaxing to watch a long video.
very nice to watch mate, didnt know we got humming birds in the UK?!
Cracking video , thanks :)
Great video, very well done - the editing must have taken ages ..
thanks for the beautiful tour in nature, the hummingbird insect is beautiful, here in Rome before there were many now they are a rarity 👍🙋
Great film,thank you.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Wonderful. Thank you.
What a video! Keep up with the good content, mate! 😊👍
Yes, please vlog your trips out into nature :¬)
I live in Scotland so I don't see little egrets
Really enjoyed this video!

I really enjoy these videos.
Come to the lea next year we saw a grass snake on the towpath lolz!
What a beutiful evening
great footage as always liam.
Great little trip, more please
Magic tent ! love it
BTW When you said you drove West, I suspect you meant you drove East.
It depends which bit you mean, at the beginning I drove west as I live in norwich.
Great video! Thanks for sharing this trip with us. Have you ever considered offering nature-inspired guided tours? Also, do you plan to do a similar trip to Scotland?
Hi Liam brilliant video I would definitely love to see more like this you do a fantastic job very interesting all the different things you film keep them come well worth watching thanks Bernard
I've emailed you if you fancy adder hunting I have their spots
This is a amazing birder
