Funny that you should mention that Ken and Terry could be bros, because in almost every Capcom and SNK crossover, that's basically what Ken and Terry treat each other as. And the fans all agree too! (To the point of several of them being mad at Death Battle for pitting them against each other like this!)
Both Ken and Terry are, without a fraking doubt, two of my Most Absolute favorites in Fighting Game History!!!

Ken and terry actually teamed up, its called snk vs capcom, its basically street fighter characters fighting snk characters,
They didn't team up. There's no real story to the CVS games. They're literally Capcom produced Millennium Match games.

Much earlier Death Battles used the numbers a lot less. As the series went on it was always interesting seeing it evolve and use more math and the such. ^.^

They completely forgot that, in game canon, Ken has a dark form, like dark Ryu. The winner should have been Ken.

@@DefinitelyNotDefinitive2 according to the leaks ken’s wife left him and took the kids along with her. I think it was because of his constant fighting. He really showed up to his kids birth still in fighting uniform.
Until 6 at least which is the upcoming street fighter title and now the chronologically latest in the timeline, Ken has actually beaten Ryu at the end of the street fighter timeline because he found the inner balance Ryu had been searching for up to that point all on his own by being a husband and father and fighting for his family. Ryu is the flagship mascot character and Ken beats him with the power of Vin Diesel.

On the subject, the show picked the wrong matchup.
Ken is second fiddle to Ryu in the Street Fighter franchise, and in the Fatal Fury franchise, Terry is the main character.
They should have gone with Ken vs Andy.
Fatal Fury has been absorbed into the KoF lore where even if he isn't the hero, Kyo Kusanagi is considered the main character, thus making him Ryu's counterpart. Iori Yagami is his rival, but more so in the vein of how Akuma is Ryu's rival/enemy. Therefore, that would make Terry and Ken each other's counterparts, as they are absolute must-haves in each game and are friends with Kyo/Ryu, but aren't always integral to the storyline.
@@TheIllustriouBlueJay In case you didn't notice, every single one of Terry's feats in the death battle were from Fatal Fury, not King of Fighters.

Like superman vs goku
Or ryue vs jin it's obviously goku and jin are the winners but they say it's the other way
Goku know the hakai which in the anime destroy the character from the history even a god how can superman beat that
And jin is way stronger even tho he can't control his devil side but that's his power he doesn't need to control it

And the characters are introduced from birth till end and their videos most of them have 40-30 min mostly InInformations but in a very funny way u will really enjoy it

And have you reacted to dead fantasy? They are fighting animated episodes. There is a video called Dead fantasy full hd all part 1,2,3,4,5,6. It was made all by one guy. Named Monty Oum. He died 7 years ago. He never got to finish them. But they are absolutely amazing. His first video he make was called haloid. The video called. HALOID (halo + Metroid Prime - Master Chief VS Samus Aran) is an hd video of it.
We have not seen Dead Fantasy or Samurai Showdown yet but both on our request list to check out at some point 😅

You aren't wrong the similarities between them are there cause snk og employees are from Capcom so some characters mirror or out right parody each other. Robert an Ryo are parodies of ken and Ryu
Ryo and Robert are not "parodies" but they're both made by the Street Fighter creator.
Capcom's Dan however, is a parody of Ryo and Robert.

Now Dan is what you would call a parody character, since he was designed to specifically mock Ryo and Robert.

Well, like i said many times, Death Battle does not do their research properly. Cause Ken is on the same level as Ryu, and Ryu, i remind you, fought Asura and survived. He also fought Akuma many times, faced his dark hado and got rid of it. While Ken was under control of M.Bison and managed to snap out of it, defeating Bison later, along side with Ryu. Also, any students who was trained in ansatsuken style has an evil side. And that is not just about Ryu, but also about Ken, who has evil side too, he just didn't brought it yet. But, the main problem with this Death Battle, is the fact that nor Terry or Ken doesn't have point to fight and kill each other. Cause they are basically on the same side. Thus, there is no reason for Terry to kill Ken or vice versa. Thus, it would be just a simple sparing match, but not a death battle. Just play Capcom vs Snk and Capcom vs Snk 2. Or even SvS Chaos - Snk vs Capcom. None of the good guys killed each other.
"No reason to kill each other" does not equate in Death Battle. It's not a factor, ever, not since the very first episode. The point is not to find out "Who is more of a cold-blooded murderer than the other", it's to find out "who would win in a fight to the death". It's literally part of the MO.
