Two of my mates and one of the wives (all stoned) spent over an hour last night trying to do this on my Megane. One of them managed finally but I need to do it again now and change the headlight bulb they never succeeded with after all. This is much more helpful than having to watch that circus last night thanks.
Haha stoned what a fun sight to behold ace mate😁 Yeah it's easier to come through the wheel arch to do the light bulbs, should be videos on here, I did it once, took to Halfords after that let them do it. 👍🏼
MAN! you saved my workshop today. I was ready to light it on fire. Hood was locked up after test drive - cable disconnected, probably by removing the battery. Managed to open it by hand, it can be done with help from this video! Thanks!
Could not make it out at first, but spot on, just like to add that Was done through pass grill with crow bar just as in video, bit fiddly but worked! Great video
Thanks a lot for sharing mate! I simply don't know how the f these bloody cables break! I spend one hour trying to open mine but only using the hand and was gnarly close to that freaking spring. Tomorrow I'll try again and work on a way to improve this bloody cable as it happened for the second time within 4 years
Morning there MGTOW, it was a game for me to try and fix, once I did unlocked I knew what to do, so tried my best at videoing it to share on how I got it to ops, glad you sorted it 👍🏼

Alright Frank, I'm not sure what's wrong with yours not closing, have you checked to see if anything is blocking the catch, have you sprayed the latch with WD40 incase that is stuck, I ended up sending my megane to the grave yard 3 years ago, head gasket went, said to see it go it served me well.
@@frankMIALL I now drive a Ford focus, touch wood, no bonnet troubles yet, I'd lube it up with WD40 and copper grease for the latches there after to see if it frees them, sounds like its stuck Frank.
I got this car, becuase it was said to be reliable. Yet when i had to pop open the hood I got bitch-slapped by the biggest nonsense i have ever seen. Failed on the most basic maintenance action. Step 1... near impossible. My ass is reliable
