i think the key information that you need to know to interpret the album was given by txt today, and that is what the temptation is: not growing up (explaining the peter pan references). so they get tempted by the devil and accept it, they go through the sugar rush and become happy fools by staying boys andd refusing responsibilities, by the end they accept that they have to leave neverland (youth)
i can't believe how txt can always reflect my feelings and ambitions😭

My favorite off this album is "Farewell, Neverland". When you listen to it with headphones, it has everything...gorgeous vocals, the beautiful guitar, and it's an absolute banger when it kicks in. Masterpiece. My next favorite is "Devil by the Window". It's haunting and I love it. And of coarse "Sugar Rush Ride"...Amazing.

all of the tracks from this album are soooo insane like i literally CANNOT choose a top 1 fave. also they already did a live performance for dbtw, and SRR so i hope you could react to it as well! the choreo is amazing for both of them!

the trend of making really short songs these days is kinda obnoxious to me. i love txt but man last album and this one as well i found myself kinda disappointed by the length. it feels like it doesn't give me enough time to dive into the song fully or experience it as much as i want to. so i'm totally with you there! i hope this trend ends soon and people start making longer songs more often again..
neverland is definitely my favorite song off this album, i feel like it's actually one of my favorite txt songs in general right now! though i am very much enjoying every song as well, but wow something about that one is just... CHEFS KISS. thanks for the reaction, it was fun to listen along with you!

they performed sugar rush ride and devil by the window on music bank earlier aND the choreos are insane!
there’s mistranslation, instead of “hello neverland my love” they’re actually saying “farewell neverland my love”! that’s why its the title of the song. but then again to each you own as “annyeong” is often either used as a greeting or a goodbye.

I just realized this time through Devil that one of the things striking me is how much more of their vocal depth and richness they're using. It's not all super high, and it's also a more mature sound.
Hearing people sing wherever it works best in their range is always a joy. I think most of them - maybe all - have relatively low natural voices.

I love Tinnitus and Farewell to Neverland. I think their voices fit Neverland so well
I think we can all agree that farewell neverland is amazing, and I guess about 90% can agree that it's our favorite song. The passion in that song is actually wild. I really love that song. It's so full of pain, but so pure in a way, it literally did exactly what it was supposed to do. And before the last course, the 'my Peter pan' and then the little pre course and then the last drop to the course is just breathtaking. One of their best songs imo.
It's one of these songs where you don't even have to read the lyrics to know what it's about.

I agree with you regarding the length of the songs. I am from the old school of 5 minute plus songs and dance tracks were 10 mins LOL. When I began listening to K-pop/BTS songs I was in shock somewhat because the length of the songs was not what I was use to. I can get with the 3 and a half minute songs but come on. However, I like TXTs new album. 😃
bts has pretty long songs tho, not like 6 minutes but most of their songs are over 3.5/4 min which is actually unusual if you think about streaming era
nd with txt i feel like them having short songs is somewhat in lined w the fact that they are a genZ group. ig they want to keep everything "fresh"
When I first TXT, I was happy they didn't sound like BTS, however what they have in common to BTS is their story telling from Nap of a Star. They tell their story like Can't You See Me, Puma, and now Farewell Neverland. Very happy with their growth as artist and in their personalities.
Neverland my love has such a bollywood song vibes that makes it even more special for me and my favourite is devil by the window cause I am a sucker for dark songs
