Hey Bryan so if you are building a new house for residential, how would you go about limiting the amount of vents that penetrate a roof. Can you consolidate the vents so that there is only one main vent. Im asking this because what if a home owner is trying to build a passive house and your trying to make the house as air tight as you can
Pipe is sized by its inside diameter because this determines the flow rate. But their are different wall sizes called Schedules. Sch 40 is a very common wall thickness, but there is 20 and 30 (thinner) and 80 (thicker than 40). So a sch 40 3 in inside, wall thickness 1/8 x 2 = 3 1/4 O.D.

my toilet has a 3.25 O.D DWV pipe, is this considered a 3" pipe?
