hey bbs 🐀🎀 if this video looks a lil familiar to ya, it's because it very well may be! I've actually been moving this week! (hence the declutter hehe), so this is a big mega juicy video of ALL my recent wardrobe declutter episodes (also mr youtube studio tells me new cuties find me through big chunky videos like this so wanted to see how that goes!) feel free to skip if you've already seen, or pop it on in the background to give it a lil love 💖 new videos are cookin' 👩🍳 can't wait to serve you some yum yum munch crunch content!!
I cannot explain or analyze except that even déjà vu Lucy content still entertains and still works. That being said LOVE the honesty along with full disclosure. May "the move" work smoothly.🖖
I think the whole climate/seasons where you live thing is so important and relevant. I've been doing some decluttering myself and realised I really need a lot of different stuff because we really have 4 proper seasons, including minus temps/snow and anything and everything up to sweltering heat. So I think I have to forgive myself for having massive sheepskin coats AND loads of lightweight thin cotton and linen dress and pretty much everything in-between... probably half of my wardrobe is made up of some kind of layering pieces of different thickness and length.
Advise from the future. (or an old person who has lived a lot longer than you) If you like it and it fits well but just aren't feeling it or it has gone out of fashion, box it up. Put it away. Fashion is cyclical and having "vintage" pieces is cool. Especially if it was yours. Even if you follow the once a lifetime rule on trends, you may have a daughter who will love them. ❤️
the vintage dress from Thailand at 2:05:00 is absolutely stunning on you, it suits you so well don't get rid of it! It's a lovely cut and if could by styled down with pumps for a relaxed beachy vintage vibe or up with a pair of big glasses and bold lipstick you could be a glamorous lady watching tennis at Wimbledon.
LucyLivin giving us what we want, absolutely love decluttering videos! ToT On the topic of 'flattering' clothes, I was thinking maybe it might help to recontextualise the concept: so for example, you prefer 'form-fitting' or 'body skimming' articles because they look good, feel good and make you feel good. Whereas, someone else may enjoy loose, baggy and flowing articles, for the same reasons - both can be 'flattering' since flattering isn't just fit but can include colour, pattern, aesthetic, vibe, etc. Now 'flattering' doesn't have to mean a singular ideal of 'socially appealing' according to 'body type' but what makes you feel and look good?
Aww glad you enjoy! And yes such an interesting point re: "flattering", and totally agree that it can be a variety of things - I think a lot of the times I'm conscious that in describing what I like in clothing / my personal style it is quite synonymous with a lot of traditional "flattering" qualities, and also relates to my body type (eg waist emphasis). I'm conscious in referring to what I find flattering on myself is what a lot of people would consider conforming to that idea, but I do recognise that preferences and personal style //should// go beyond those limiting suggestions but I often fall within them 😅 Maybe just a semantics issue but it is interesting with discussions I've seen encouraging people to step outside of those norms - so it's interesting to agree with that sentiment but still find enjoyment/comfort/confidence in what I like to wear 🥸 Idk if I'm making sense the move is making me loopy haha but such a good comment ty ty! 💗
I suppose my response is kind of a wider discussion around how people feel about the word "flattering", hahahaha so hard to convey nuance on big topics via comments but LOVE a big comment chat 😩💗💕
Over the years my friends, family and acquaintances have cajoled, begged, pleaded and bargained with me to accomplish a closet declutter. Magically Lucy Livin videos succeed in making declutter seem like fun ( well almost 😉).
Odd statement: I've never seen someone tuck their turtlenecks inside instead of outside. I flip it over to where the material ends outside. LoL I was so stunned by this that I had to go google. 😂
Definitely keep the black dress. It is morbid, but you should always have an outfit that is appropriate for a funeral. I will never forget my father dying suddenly and having to go buy funeral clothes. 😢
as someone who works in a clothing store, the amount of times i’ve asked people “are you shopping for anything fun or exciting?” and they respond with, “a funeral” is astounding. i agree 100%
A good tailor can alter almost anyting, the only trouble is when you want a piece to be bigger, it can be very difficult to find a good solution. Most of my clothes are altered to fit me properly.
I have certain tops I love with skinnier cut pants like these dramatic v shirts I have with shoulder pads lol or also very long collared shirts. But usually if I wear a tshirt I am gonna go for a more straight leg or wide leg fit.
You are different from all the other You look and sound like a really good people .I like that in a person .I would.really like to get to know you You have a very great day .coolcat dan 🎉🎉🎉
I'm thinking she means longer. And yeah, a lot of those short dresses were way too short. Some barely covered her tush. She has a lovely figure and her style is fun but ..man. also, that final green dress is absolutely adorable and the cut is great in you.
@@stephanieauker1106too short is fine if you have something on underneath lol... but yeah I am surprised if they don't have little bike shorts on. underneath. Some ladies are daring lol.

thank you for creating a compilation of all these together! these types of videos help me declutter too, as silly as that sounds!
I do it too
It is not silly❤

Aww hope you enjoy 🫡💕💗 I also love long vids while I do things hehe

What Lucy said 36 minutes in is so true. Chuu isn't as girly as they used to be. I miss the old Chuu
that long bright pink skinny skirt with the slit was stunning on you.
I think the pink of the heart ensemble suited you perfectly!
Ohh my gosh that green and white dress is soo beautifull
The dark, bright pink sweater is beautiful on you!

It seems like this content is really popular in Australia. Most of the creators I see making them are Australian. Either way, love it!

I love the baby pink v neck on you
Where is that white Croped Tank top from, that you used in the Skirt part? I lost track 🥲 its really pretty and suits you well!
It's from Zara! I don't love the material but I've gotten a lot of wear out of it 😩✨️
I *need* that Princess Polly denim jacket *cries in American*

Cutie pie!
If you wash that white buff sleeve cardigan, it would shrink. 😁

What are grown-up clothes?
Grown up clothes is whatever a grown up wears… soo. That’s what Lucy is already wearing 🤠🤠
