It's a great gun I love mine so far.
I just said this in another video 5 minutes ago... and each video had thousands of views already, so i know it's already over for getting one... makes me regret not being so tech savy ¬ doing my own review video to get one.

Taurus is definitely becoming more aesthetically pleasing and great ergonomics. Hopefully next gen of the tx22 will have this flat trigger
@@DTWCT I agree except the tx22. I love that gun so much I am reluctant to change anything. I am hoping they eventually change their G3 sized gun to something that is more ergonomically like the tx22.

Micro guns should not have rails for lights or lasers. It's for concealment not as a transformer.

There is a 13 round mag and extended mag bases available on the Taurus web site store. I would like to see a manual safety version. I would almost bet that an optic cut version is coming later for those who want it. Being the lowest priced micro 9 on the market these will sell like crazy. Thanks for sharing.
Still no tac rail though... youd think that would be the easiest add 🤔
@@mathattered1884 Consider the tiny size of the pistol and the amount of room on the tiny frame dust cover. But yes they could have added a small accessory rail on the dust cover if they had enough room. I tend to think there was not enough room for a standard rail. It is one of the smallest dust covers I have ever seen. I have already seen a clip on laser sight on the trigger guard. Maybe they will have a clip on light or other accessories for the trigger guard. However the 365 dust cover is also tiny and they put one on theirs but its proprietary. If the rail is a deal breaker for you then don't buy the GX4. Or wait and see if a different frame with a rail comes out for the stainless steel chassis/fire control unit.
Great shooting gun, and for $300 you can’t go wrong. Picked one up for an alternate EDC.

Taurus has the pinky mag extension online. Get them now! Before there gone. Had to order my GX4 from my go to dealer. Hope it doesn't take 6 months like the Ruger 57 did.
Not a bad gun I'm definitely impressed that Taurus is stepping up their game. The GX4 has the potential to be one of the best micro compact pistol for under 550 dollars. That being said do I plan on getting one. Unfortunately not as much as I like the gun it's way too small for my large hands even with the extended magazines plus it did feel as comfortable as the M&P shield plus did. So at the end of the day I'm going with the new M&P shield plus.

I just got one factory new from GunBroker for under $300 including tax, shipping and FFL fee. I'm waiting on the rebate. With the rebate it will be less than $250. I think I got a good deal and after taking it to the range I am loving shooting it😊.
A held one that the day and it felt awesome in my hand, I love that it’s holds so many rounds yet is so tiny with a flush magazine…love tthe finishing on the barrel versus The rough looking unfinished cement looking barrels on their G2 & G3C models..I just wish they had made it look less like a futurist mini Taser & more like a gun. The went a bit overboard trying to make it look different than any other gun and that by itself is the problem with this design..g you want your gun to look like a gun to a perpetrator that you need to take you serious. A bad person that wants to do you harm acknowledging that you have a real gun and fleeing happens more than people have to shoot an attacker. The last thing you want them to think is that you’re holding a taser or a toy and then you end up having to shoot them for most likely ruin your life forever.
I am sure Pierce will come out with a plus one or two with a pinky extension

Who cares about a case? I've never put my XD40 back in the case and it's not even a conceal worthy gun. Just takes up space in my drawer
There's nothing glock sig springfield or ruger can say about this Pistol. Very solid construction. I'd put it up against any of them.

This is so typical of my luck. I JUST bought a hellcat last Friday! I could’ve saved like $160! That’s like 250 rds of 9mm to go with it! Dang it!
Hell cat comes with a 13 round factory mag and the optional pinky extension. That saves you 50 right there. And a tac rail... which is priceless. Also more upgrades available if that's your thing

I'll wait for the GX4 T.O.R.O. They probably did this by design, they sell as many as they can with out the T.O.R.O. system then get the same people to by with it.
I have the g3 full size very good shooter not bad on recoil good capacity 17 round and 15 round mags if I went with Glock it would be the 48.
The Mossberg sg1 compact does have a lot of recoll.😳

So I asked about this at my local shop this morning, and they were selling it for $329. However, the clerk was pretty quick to diss this model and the G3C especially as not being suitable for anyone who would put any serious wear on a gun, and seemed pretty confident that they wouldn’t last more than 2000 rounds, But did acknowledge that it would be likely to run fine.. What is your sense about its durability?
For sure looks like a snappy lil dude. Micro 9s are all snappy though I suppose.

From what I can tell if you change the base plate on a g2c to a flat one you would have the same size pistol.. or I saw where taurus has a 13 round mag that is a little longer..
I now own both the g3c and gx4. Gx4 is much more concealable for me and feels great in the hand.
I think the curve would be the first micro compact from taurus.

Taurus copies another popular pistol 🔫 (PT92, their revolvers for example). The Taurus PX4 has lots of Glock 43 DNA in it.
This is good 👍for the buyer because from Glock's expired patents you get a better Taurus albeit a lower quality copy. Now the folks who have little to no money can defend themselves too.

Didn't you read? The US Army is going to field this as a backup to the Navy SEALS Air Forces Pararescue Units. First, they need to have Hans Solo field test the pistol.
Glock 43X for the win. Glock internals = less parts, which means better reliability, and the 43X is much easier to completely tear down for cleaning, parts available everywhere.

Id trade my new glock 19 gen 5 straight up for one of these, hell i already ccw my g2c everyday over the glock, and ive had the g2c for years now.
To me it already failed since it doesn’t have an optic cut. You should have the OPTION TO USE A DOT!!!

Taurus is giving you the option. Buy the and install one yourself, or don't buy the gun and bi%ch it doesn't have one.
Hard pass. Nothing about it is appealing. Not attractive, no optic option (you missed that), no rail, etc. And you can barely get two fingers around the grip.
For just under $400 if rather opt for the Ruger 9Max.
I hate the trigger on the Ruger.
If you need an optic for what this pistol was designed for, you have more problems than Taurus can solve.
