One of my favourite things about living on this end of Fredericton is all the distinct villages in the area. Barker's Point (which I'm never sure if I should put an apostrophe in or not), Marysville, South Devon/Gibson, North Devon/Saint Mary's Ferry.. something about a village is just charming, and these are no exception, though they've all changed a bit since Fredericton amalgamated through the 1900s. Fun fact, on your left at 14:45 you can the platform where the long-since-demolished Saint Mary's Ferry train station used to be. There also used to be another, which was where the park-and-ride is now and the trail centre building used to be at 9:47. There's a nice book in the downtown library on the railway history of New Brunswick and Frederiction (and Marysville, Devon etc.) come up a fair bit. Thank you for recording this, and in good production quality to boot!
Great production, beautiful scenery and the new addition, a great commentary
I would love to see more.
Hopefully I’ll get a chance to do a few more rides this summer or fall!
