Sangat sedikit orang-orang yang setia beriman menurut penilaian Tuhan (Luk.18:8). Hal ini menjadi peringatan untuk kita, bahwa tidak bisa setengah-setengah dalam mengikut Tuhan. Dunia yang semakin jahat dengan berbagai goncangan bagi kita yang sungguh-sungguh ingin mencapai hidup sesuai kehendak Tuhan, karena kita melawan arus dunia. Banyak orang yang tidak merasakan goncangan tersebut karena mengikuti arus dunia. Mereka merasa nyaman, tidak mencari Tuhan dengan sungguh-sungguh. Merasa puas dengan hidup keberagamaan dengan standar moral dunia. Sedangkan kita ingin mencapai moralitas anak-anak Allah yang Kudus. Mari kita memilih setia di akhir zaman ini dengan berjuang untuk melepaskan segala keinginan diri sendiri yang bertentangan dengan kehendak Allah. Bertekunlah dalam doa agar mengenali sisi diri kita yang masih belum berkenan.
