Hermosa Beach is a beachfront city located in the South Bay region of Los Angeles County, California. Hermosa Beach is bordered by the other two beach cities, Manhattan Beach to the north and Redondo Beach to the south.
The Hermosa Beach Pier, extends 1,140 feet from the Strand toward the Pacific Ocean. The current Hermosa Beach Pier structure was built in 1965 and renovated in the early 2000s.

This was my first trip to California 45 years ago. They took me to the pier at midnight and the beautiful sounds of the waves crashing I'll never forget.
Hermosa, Redondo, and Manhattan Beach are my favorites!
Visited Cali for the first and second times ever to see Metallica in August and October. Stayed in this area both times. SO incredibly beautiful, beautiful people, scenery. The walk from the pier to Manhattan pier is awesome. Active people everywhere. So peaceful!!
i absolutely love this area. i visited a friend here once years ago because she had a place here and was obsessed ever since. ive spent all my time in LA and my dream home is in this area.

Super disruptive to enjoying a sunset with ads popping up throughout, not to mention LOUD, if you have speakers on (I can only imagine for those wearing headphones for the binaural experience).
Aside from that, this as a GORGEOUS walk and you planned this out very well. Lived here for many years and you *captured* a good part of why we pay the big bucks to live on The Strand in HB.

Hermosa beach , and redondo beach are the best hands down. Wanna chill and do a bon fire at the beach? Go to Huntington Beach to the pits! So many options to choose here

I live here!!! I surf at the pier you're standing on! The giant sand burm is usually filled with kids sliding down it like snow! I love my tiny 1.4 mi beach town ✌️❣️
It looks idyllic and the sunset is drop dead gorgeous! Maybe the most beautiful ocean view and sunset I've ever seen. I admit I haven't seen that many.

The last time, I was there. It was sad to say goodbye. So many memories of the Fiesta Days on Memorial and Labor Day weekends. The Volleyball Tournaments.

This video makes me want to cry. It's so beautiful there but when I was there 2 years ago the streets and restaurants and bars were overflowing with happy mostly young people enjoying their life in a free California. Now as you can see most everyone is locked down in their home as if we were living in Russia.
Winters during weekdays are always pretty calm. Even before lockdown.

That is not a oil refinery but a power plant and most of it is not being used anymore. And will be ripped not completely in the future.😃

In Hermosa Beach, the Drunk Locals drink out of Red Cups. We always knew that people would come from Manhattan Beach. Because, they would drink out of Blue Cups.
The only reason, we came to Manhattan Beach, was because of the Manhattan Beach Open.
