My grandmother gave that to me and my brothers taking on the role of the mother when she shouldn’t have had to be, And she as well passed away on Christmas Day of 2020 but unfortunately she passed away in a house fire. I’m so sorry for your loss and everything you have endured. You are STRONG. You are WORTHY. You MATTER ❤

Angelina, when I was a younger girl seeing Jersey Shore for the first time, I definitely wanted to like the girls who outcasted you because the show was edited and manipulated in that direction to catch viewers. As an adult, rewatching the episodes.. it’s not hard to see who were the shit disturbers and who was being straight up mean. Being honest is not a villain thing to do. ❤️ happy to see you doing this and I wish you all the best with it!

only 10 minutes in, and i already feel so connected to you ang. we have the EXACT SAME STORY(except for the biological dad part). we're both cancers, im july 9, you're june, and we're both born in 1986, this is wild. my dad also beat me growing up,(my whole childhood, up until i was 19 and moved out. the day i moved out was the last time he put his hands on me). he would choke me, punch me, kick me,, but also verbally abusive. would call me "fucking stupid", "why can't you do anything right" when teaching me things if i didn't comprehend right away. i'm already starting to understand you that much more. because i went through the same shit you went through. i know exactly how you feel, and i know your pain, because i went through the same exact pain. feeling unloved, and not wanted/good enough.
my dad just died in december(4 months ago, he was only 63🥺) his death has been really hard on me because i never got the closure i needed and deserved. he never once apologized for putting his hands on me. so now i've just been trying to heal and forgive, but, without that apology, it's been really fucking hard. thank you for sharing your story angelina, it makes me get to know you that much more of who you are as a person, and makes me respect you that much more. keep your head up girl, love and light💗💫
I still have yet to figure out why Angelina always gets raked over the coals, yet everyone has brought some kind of "drama/crazy" to the table, have been forgiven, and welcomed back! Girl, keep being you, share your story, and show others it is okay to not let other put a thumb over you! Can't wait to see what you have to say next!

Honestly Angelina is my favorite one on the show. I’m from New York (Long Island) and I’m equally as open and brutally honest. People hate honest people& that’s why I don’t have many friends. I feel like she is misunderstood & is always edited to look like the villain

My mother was a recovering alcoholic. She dealt with some excruciating things that happen to her as a child and teenager while living her mom and several step dads. Hence, the reason she drank (closet drinker) and even tried unaliving herself twice. (Same for me) When she passed from cancer at age 67, she was in a good place spiritually and I loved that for her. Sweetest woman and Mom ever, who never raised her voice or said one bad thing about anyone. (Me on the other hand 😒) To get to my point, she told me that for however long you dealt with trauma at a young age or whatever, it can take the same amount of time to heal from it. Meaning, if your childhood was bad, it can take your entire adulthood to recover. And she couldn't be more right. And that's okay. We are all a work in progress and we can always do our best to be a better person each day up until our dying breath. So if you have certain behaviors and deal with stress, etc a certain way for many years, things won't change overnight. It takes work, reflection, understanding and forgiveness of yourself. Angelina is a very guarded person and for good reason. She was never taught how to deal with her feelings and emotions and it can come across to other people a certain way. But if she is working on herself and taking accountability for her actions, then we need to cut her some slack. That's not to say she shouldn't be called out when necessary but try to understand where she's coming from. These podcasts will help with that. And therapy. It's your friend and can be life-changing. Let's put aside the stigma around it once and for all ❤❤❤
PS - I also shared a lot of the same behavior, reaction and attitude that Angelina does from my teenage years to around my 40's (I'm 53 now) so I totally get where she's coming from. I've changed so I know she's capable. But deep down we have always been good people 😊

I'm 56 and to this day I have no idea how my real father is and something I would like to know but other times I don't. My first step dad was abusive and my second step dad tried to sexually assault me and last year I lost my mother ❤️ love the podcast

Well I guess you answered my question when you said “you’re there to stay” 😂. I be the main one advocating for you to be on a different show with a cast who is more of your speed! I feel like they’re just not your group of people on Jersey Shore, and you need to film with people who aren’t so sensitive & have more tough skin than them! That’s why you’re always coming across as the villain. People who don’t want to like you will find any reason to validate why they don’t wanna like you. Even if they have to blow the simplest things out of proportion. You have your moments that piss us viewers off, but so does the WHOLE cast! That’s why I get annoyed when they always just pick on you. You’re a star, meaning sometimes you’ll be “too much” or too big for certain tables of people. I love that you’re doing this Podcast, and keep continuing to promote yourself outside of the show!! I can’t wait to see & enjoy watching you with other future projects (outside of the show) that you will be working on! ♥️

I've tried therapy and it just didn't work for me. It actually made things worse at the time being. Im sure it helps some out but i wasn't one of them. The moment she brought up the backpack i immediately broke down because i knew exactly what it meant & i can just say im glad she is strong enough to talk about all this..she is very inspiring! I think i found my therapist 💖

Angelina after listening to do I still think you don't take responsibility for your actions because there was so much drama that you wouldn't let go and to be honest was very hard to watch. I hope you get the help you need to overcome your fears and your triggers. Seeing a psychologist and embracing a drama free life is the key to self growth, I'm leaving proof of that.

I really watch the show cause of Angelina and if she wasn't there the show would kind of boring and dull. She is an OG because yes she was replaced by Deena in the original Jersey Shore in Seasons 3 to 6. However, she was on the first two seasons and the show didn't want her to leave. She quit and left because of the drama with Mike and Snooki and the other cast. But she has grown as a person and she's a lot better of a person now then back then. Keep in mind no matter how much you want her off the show......it would never happen because they want her on the show because she's one of a Kind. Also have some compassion for her. She had a miscarriage, she got jumped by two women in the mall, her first wedding was a disaster and she got divorced. Also, her mom kept her real father as a secret for fucking 36 years. Now she meets her dad and he's keep asking her for money. Guys, please give her a break and even though she's going through Drama with Sam who just came back.....Don't be biased and just take Sammi's side. Look how Sammi is around Ron where it's been 10 years and she's already on her second engagement and lives with Justin. But she's still uncomfortable around Ronnie where you see Ronnie and he seems fine. So, it' s not just Angelina's fault from the drama with Sammi. Whether you like it or not....Angelina is the heart of the show and family vacation has been mainly about her.
