"Not Of This Earth" 1957, now THAT was the golden decade of Sci- Fi and horror if you were a boomer, and she was in many seminal works that kept us kids riveted to the big screen during Saturday matinees, with our 5 cent Hershey chocolate bar with almonds. We do grieve at your passing, sweet princess.

My favorite actress as a child was Doris Day. Who says a kid can't fall in love? Later as I grew older it was Audrey Hepburn. Wow what a beauty and talented. I remember telling a girlfriend I had for a few years about my crush on Audrey and she bought me a book about Audrey with pictures and biography. I really hadn't expected it. Man those were the days.

Beverly Garland was the first female police woman on TV show called DECOY. She was beautiful looked exotic and showed her talent in it. She should have been touted more as such by Hollywood. Too bad it didn't go past 2 season but there are a lot of episodes.

Scarecrow and Mrs. King was a great show with a hint of humor. Beverly was a great actress, beautiful and a wonderful, humble personality. She remained beautiful as she aged and that is a gift. SMK had a great cast!
She and Bruce Boxleitner (Lee from SMK) were great friends and remained so until her death.
The interviewer did a wonderful job interviewing people. (Before cable days. Cable wasn't mainstream yet.)

I'm watching the series now! Besides being eye candy, I liked her noirish style!

She was almost 60 here and looks great. Not like science projects like the actresses today who are that age,.

I watched DECOY when it was airing new. It was a single camera filmed show, not live television. It was shot largely on location in New York in a somewhat Cinema Verite' style. Amazingly, it dealt with controversial issues like narcotics and Prostitution, subjects that were not dealt with on network television. Fortunately syndication was a bit more liberal.

She was Laura's mother on Remington Steele overlapping the years SMK was on.
