- Classic Italian sportswear brand, C.P. Company, teamed up with Asics to release the pair's first ever collaboration. Working on the Gel-Quantum 360 VIII, this collab consisted of two pairs, and today I'm reviewing the "Cement Grey" colourway. I'm lookin to pick up my first asics, do you have any recommendations for something really lightweight like Nike flyknit/pegasus, etc?

They really are extremely comfortable, i was super surprised. The colorway made it look really premium to me somehow and its my first gel quantum 360 ever

@@mauri1400 for me it was TTS. I go half size up with Nike air max 95 or 97.
I have the yellow and i love it,agree that is difficult for daily use because you can basically wear only black clothes to match with them,on the other hand a lot of people going bananas when they see me wearing them!I think it is more stylish for sure and the grey is more safe as an option.

@@mauri1400 I think you should stay true to size compared to adidas or New Balance,i don't wear nikes but i think it will be the same anyway.
Love these. These may be the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn. Are you going to review the yellow pair? I’m torn on whether or not to buy them.

Do you find Asics Gel-1130 and Gel-Kayano 14 fit tighter around the toe box compared to Nike Vomero 5? Suppose that all are bought in true to size. Some say that the Vomero is more wide foot friendly, I got myself a pair of Vomero and I think it has just enough room for my toes to be able to move comfortably, I wouldn't take anything more snug than that. I hope the Asics fit the same since I'm planning on buying a pair. Thanks for the help in advance Sean. Nice review on the Quantum btw, interesting pair!
Kayano 14 is a bit more snug than Vomero 5. Gel 1130 is comparable imo.
Can these be used as a court shoe like for badminton? Or just for running?
too unstable for side to side movement. it’s really a lifestyle sneaker

Decent silhouette but, personally, I’m not drawn to the colour-way.
Got both, really want to keep the yellow but I know deep down that I'm probably never gonna wear them so I'll just keep the gray ones lol

are these ok for long time walking? I'm assuming if the midsole is too bouncy may cause problem for all day long wearing
if you like more support then you may not love these but the step in comfort is great
@@SeanGo for comparison, yeezy 350 make my arch pretty sore after a two hours tour, but shadow 6000 don't. Balance should be somewhere in between comfort and support, I wonder if this model is the case?😄

Sean- in my life I’ve owned Nike, new balance and Saucony shoes. I generally wear an 11.5 in all three. Do ASICS fit in similar fashion to those brands I mentioned? I’m thinking about buying a pair of ASICS online.
diff asics fit differently but this pair fits like your normal shoe size

Most comfortable pair of footwear I’ve ever put on
Passed on these - I can’t stand the branding at the toebox. A bit too awkward / obnoxious for me.
Looking forward to seeing more collabs with this model down the line though !

I ordered these from Asics UK within a minute of them dropping. Within 10 mins it was cancelled and cued for refund. Out of stock. Raffles / releases are a joke these days. Surely there's a better way of stopping bots / resellers?

@SeanGo sadly its typical of modern releases man. SNKRS often breaks for me & don't get me started on NB UK website. It can't handle the traffic of a big release.
I got them about 4h after release online at BSTN. I was really surprised they still had them in a size 10.
