I would love to see a video on diet. What we should be feeding our dogs to prevent, and then what to feed if we get a bad diagnosis. Really interested as well in your work in early detection.
I followed studies and took 3,500 D3 14 years ago with 400 magnesium and 100 K2 to modulate my over reactive immune system with 52 years of allergies and 10 years of low success vaccines. 100 % control over allergies 2010 - 2024. NOW, I follow over 2,000 science papers and studies on Prostate cancer and other cancers and take " Kale Powder from Amazon and add pomegranate juice and carrot juice and will take another PSA test as my last was 4.2 / 10. I also had IBS-C since 1971 but lately I took high dose Thiamine and the Kale and my microbiome corrected in 3 months. Beriberi, vitamin B₁ deficiency, thiamine-deficiency is more likely thinking now that IBS-C diagnosis. MISTAKE : You should NOT treat IBS-C with high dose Thiamine and Kale powder at the same time because now I don't know which treatment was successful on the microbiome correction . ??? lol But,...his may help dog research for microbiome / immune response to Cancers ? Here is some of the science I used dealing with " SULFORAPHANE " as it scientifically works on cancer stem cells. SULFORAPHANE STUDY : www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7867070/
This is all amazing stuff. I hope to see Oregon state university, participating in some of these studies. I lost my boy Loki to bladder cancer in September he was 14, he was gone 10 days after diagnosis, he also had kidney failure so out treatment options were limited, I still have his son Odin who just had his testes removed. Odin had tumors on his testes and I'm sending the removed tissue to OSU for biopsy, depending on the results I want to fight for him and do everything thing I can. Thank you both for all your doing. My dogs are my world, and ill miss Loki until the day we meet again. So glad there's people like you fighting to understand and treat these conditions
OSU has great oncology staff as well as researchers. Prof Schulzhenko is starting to analyze the link between gut microbiome and cancer treatment for canine patients. She's also involved in our fasting study too.
My 14.5 Shiba little guy has stage 1 hemangiosarcoma, no tumors so far anywhere else but the spleen where a small tumor was found. He had a splenectomy in January. This cancer was found by chance because he went to Emergency hospital after eating some grapes and Dr did an ultrasound. No symptoms. He has started chemo and is on Im Yunity mushrooms.
