Each comeback they had was with a message. They were the "ugly gg" but also the coolest and "swaggyest" gg. Ahhh 2ne1, my OG K-pop group. The good old days and the fan wars with SNSD stans were some of the best memories I have of K-pop. 2ne1 made all the other groups sound generic. K-pop wouldn't be what it is today if not for the 2nd gen legends that paved the way. I remember back in the late 2000s when all you could hear on the radio was 2ne1, BigBang, SuperJunior, SNSD and Wonder Girls. They really made K-pop big in Asia!
