YOU CRACK ME UP!!! I can't with you.. LOL!! " I stirred 3 1/2 days" and on the screen comes up "20 seconds". I over exaggerate simple things like that too. Walking anywhere is for SURE a weeks affair. hahaha!

Very Nice! Love the color! When you do the coat of white make sure it's not to opaque. Use a sheer white. And your colors won't mute as much. Thank for sharing your design with us! 😁
Ah fab! I totally thought about doing it thinner, or mixing the white with some clear first, but was too lazy! Good to know it works that way, thank you!
I thought the same. I've done beach themed nails using a more sheer white coat, and blooming gel. Can't wait to try her design!

The second nail design, with the brighter colors, the final pattern looks like a rainbow sea turtle's shell, (atleast to me, lol!)
My favorite animal is a turtle, more specifically sea turtles..so i absolutely loved it!
I do agree, I don't get the hype of the bubbles, the tie-die was gorgeous just to paint white over top 😂

Using black instead of white may help make the colors underneath pop more. I do love the look of the bubbles.

I'm one of the weirdos that actually really love the bubble nails. I mean, not all of them look nice, but I really love the rainbow-y ones, with the colors underneath, but I also really love the ones using chrome underneath, cat eye gels and even chameleon flakes. I don't know what it is. Maybe it's simply the effect of seeing the color poking through in small bits, in different sections. Or maybe it's the bubbles themselves because it kind of reminds me of a bubble bath using a really pretty bath bomb. Who knows? I'm strange. 😂 And now I really want to recreate these, but encapsulating the bubbles would be kind of difficult on press ons unless I size up to account for any shrinkage. And yes, I'm aware that this video is old as shit, but I'm on a bubble kick now, thanks to Kirsty Meakin's channel. 😂

do the bubbles again but 'dilute' your final white with a clear top coat. that why the design would show better through the bubbles... just a thought

Have you tried doing the same thing but not curing the colour? Without the white on top? That might look cool. Or do that then cure with bubbles on the colour, then put a thin white coat over the top covering all of it. Cure and file until the colour comes through the white. Maybe that way would change your mind a bit?
I haven't tried that! Good idea though! I might revisit them at some point...one day 😆

Looks great. A tip for bubbles that I use is a small snack container with a lid. Place water and dish soap in the container, snap on lid and shake. Then I keep that little container in my nail room. No going too far now 😉😘
That was the plan, but because nobody ever asks for bubbles, the water would be old as fudge by the time I used it again 🤢🤣

Ooh! I like these!! .... also really liked them before you bubbled them 😜 I do prefer the smoother bubble nails. Not a huge fan of the bubble nail phenomenon but have seen some neat effects here and there. Kinda remind me of barnacles .... 🤔😁

I know, im way behind this fad. But I just followed your tutorial. Honestly, I'll probably never do this again, but.... you made this easy af to follow. It worked well and turned out looking like it should. I'm just not sure I like it on MY fingers. Maybe it'll grow on me until it's time to sand this off. But thank you. Your marble technique where you dab with plastic wrap is next. Wish me luck.

What if you used a clear base for the bubbles then you would see the gel polish colours and design easier?
Doing clear drops on clear wouldn't show any pattern 😆 I think mixing clear with the white would have worked better.

I’m watching this for the first time after the world has mostly gotten back so some state of normality post lockdown but this makes me almost nostalgic for those days when it was perfectly acceptable to tell someone to back the fuck off. Now people just look at me funny when that very same sentiment is expressed and it makes me sad. I also quite liked the nail design before the white coat and the bubbles.

You need the white (or another colour) to make the bubbles. They wouldn't do anything if they didn't go on a wet coat. It would have been better to mix the white with some clear, but hey ho 🤷🏼♀️
