Your paramedic descending out of the sky in a jet suit is like the most super hero thing ever lol
Can I order one? I want to fly into someone's bedroom and steal their wife 🤣🤣🤣
@@acemany1126
Cool?
Of all the applications for the Jet Suit, quick response rescue in difficult terrain looks the most promising and immediate truly good use for this platform. When I first saw the video for this kind of thing my opinion shifted from 'that's cool, bit of a novelty that will someday be good enough for niche commercial applications' to 'This needs to be implemented immediately to help save lives.'
I mean, in this kinda area, why not just use a helicopter & winch the person up?
Some people helicopter do it better. I say : can yo helicopter land in' a forty five degree slope tho? And can it be deployed from the back of a truck?
@@julienlapointe8204 A helicopter with a winch can do everything this suit does with fewer steps, faster. The only practical use these suits have are 5 minute joyrides.
@@Vousie
Eh, possibly.
Tools that are built different are used differently for different situations. Maybe this _will_ turn out to be it's niche, maybe it won't 🤷🏾♂️. Tech is dodgy like that at times.
Notice the uneven terrain. A helicopter can’t land there, so they’ll have to work with a winch. When a helicopter can be quite costly to keep in the air, as it is so heavy.
This also makes me think of climbers and base jumpers, who sometimes end up in very inaccessible places. A helicopter can’t get close to a cliff, as damaging its rotor blades can make the whole rotor unstable and the helicopter crash. So they have to climb up to the casualty, which is slow and sometimes risky. This solves the problem.
These proof-of-concept exercises are fantastic, I'm really excited to think what the eventual practical uses of this technology (and those that follow it) will be, and the differences it'll make for everyone!
im confident that it this could help many people and even look awesome =.=
Coming to a police force near!
it'll be used for military and police purposes, never to help people.
@@Tasmanaut
🤨
"Military and Police forces"
"Never to help people"
It still needs Time. The Payload need to be Lighter. The Jets need to Slim down and be more Powerful. More Functionalities are Needed. The Power needs to Last Longer. This is a Great Start and should NEVER be used as Weapon of War.
It's amazing how this tech can be used in so many different ways.. as someone once said: "Everything is achievable through technology"
Who said that?

Finally, The dream is alive! I'm a child of the 70's and my father and I would dream of this technology. I remember going to watch 'The dream is alive' in an IMAX cinema in Bradford West Yorkshire, we felt so close to the shuttle you could almost touch it.
Thank you for bringing this much needed technology to both the industry and the dreamers alike ❤️
It's a really neat idea, the main questions for practicality are how far can it go? (distance/time), how much equipment can you carry? (usefulness once you arrive), and can you navigate/communicate/coordinate while in flight? I'm still waiting for the day you have someone jump out of an airplane wearing this and land without a parachute.
This is a good point.
Baby steps man, baby steps lol
To be fair, jumping out of a plane and landing without a parachute is inevitable. The trick is to land safely.
Supposedly these are 1000 bhp, engines, so I can't
figure out why I've only seen them do about 25mph,
at 30 or so feet elevation, and never in a forest,
always a cleared area.
I'm assuming enough for a relatively well equipped first aid pack to stop bleeding and keep the casualty stable until the larger team arrive, and defibrillators nowadays are really lightweight and compact.
So, the jet suit response is like THUNDERBIRD 1, swooping in to see to stabilizing the situation and the wounded. The ground team is like THUNDERBIRD 2 , hefting the response materials and making sure they can get the wounded out and to a hospital. International Rescue is Go!
There are a lot of autonomous drones capable of carrying a reasonable payload coming on line. Imagine pairing the Man with JetSuit and one of them?
This is crazy tech, sic-fi in the making and it can only grow from here. But it will be hard to beat a chopper for medevac in this kind of re-enacted scenario. Especially when a ground crew ingress will take hours / days to be able to extract the patient swiftly. And I am not in a position to be critical as a "nobody" I do respect your technology and and also the guts of the pilot, serious stuff, good luck with future growth and development..
Yeah. The thing going for these, I would assume, is use in conditions where a heli would not be stable or safe?
@@TechyBen Also the response time for the first on the scene with this is much quicker, for example a rapid response paramedic/doctor. Also the cost of deploying this (in the future) would be a fraction of the cost of deploying a helicopter to get HEMS Doctors on scene. The helicopter may still be needed if practical for extraction but for initial treatment it would be hard to beat this combined with the correct medical person and vehicle to get near to the scene.
Going off of what TechyBen said, in this case, the area around the patient was rocky and uneven, so it would be very hard to land a heli (although in therory it could hover and airlift the patient).

Honestly.
Odd how people don't seem to conceive a circumstance under which allowing an human to fly to a place with have to use an actual vehicle has utility.
@@techolon A helicopter winch rescue is what your looking for. I feel like the idea of a rescue jet suit is cool but it's not really practical in comparison to a helicopter winch rescue.
this looks like cgi.... but it isn't. crazy how far you guys have gone. can't wait to see more from gravity industries, i watched all of your jetpack videos. truely astonishing .. goodluck on this project, and beyond!
Yacine Dz Projects
Reminds me of the comments on his original video, lmao. People were saying "this is so fake" and "someone already admitted it was debunked", like with the Boston Dynamics video about dancing robots.
Awesome company
"GRAVITY" change the world
Love from BANGLADESH 🇧🇩🇧🇩
I love seeing how far you've come, from a wrist rocket to physically manifesting an angel.
Love this video, Richard looks so in control. Really useful for getting to injured people immediately!
This company is helping save lives. Very nice indeed. Awesome work
after many decades your invention is the finest of all..thanx for making the dream of flying humankind into reality
Dang new suit looking so clean!
Nothing matters more than one's life. Thank you very much, gravity industries is the hero of our future.super ambulance / fly Ambulance
Love these guys
you guys are great. It's great that you're doing this to help people. good luck to you!👍❤
Gravity appeared in the latest "Anime Lupin III", and I was very excited!
The combination of gravity and drone is very effective in mountain rescue.
By advancing the drone to the avant-garde, you can protect paramedics from environmental changes such as strong updrafts.
And the drones can scan safely from higher altitude a wider area, possibly providing faster identification of the casualty and guidance to the suit operator.
Espetacular. Como é maravilhoso ver esses grandes avanços serem usados em benefício a humanidade. Que vocês continuem sendo grandes inovadores em tudo.
That's the truth! Science and engineers must serve people in achieving peaceful goals! Thanks guys!
Revolutionary invention ......and helping others.....
Great combination
This is a really good invention
Outstanding use of technology, and super cool!
I love this videos!
The Jet Suit is amazing!
This is only the beginning, future iterations will prove the idea more and more realistic.
Vraiment génial !
Huge step for mankind.❤🌎 Good luck and keep up the good work innovators
SENSACIONAL!!!!
U guys are just amazing💯
Now you need a stretcher drone that tracks on the position and can lift the injured person to the waiting chopper or medical support position.
Keep all limbs inside the strecther... or lose them xD
@@tom.2900 Yes I can see some technical difficulties 😅 - but hey - I'm sure they're not insurmountable.
Love from India 🇮🇳 ♥
By the this is crazy advance technology
Good luck 👍 for future my friends ❤
May you achieve what you desire
I don't care what people will say, but this should be introduced as a tool to every Fire Station, Rescue Team. This is the most revolutionary thing in the rescue history. This save lives. Quick response to casualties before anything else. Well done.
it would be to dangerous to have one, the idea is to not get hurt firefighting or rescuing someone. its also impractical cause in order to use it there will have to be a strict certification with probably one suit per department at an astronomical cost to be used once every 5 years
Amazing ! 👏👏
Amazing
Thing people don't seem to see about this is they'll just use different things for different niches, as in needing or not needing a person somewhere in a specific amount of time and equipment, will require the jet-suit, drones, a helicopter, or something else entirely.
It's not like this is supposed to be an end-all be-all to search and rescue. If you need a man on deck or two on deck with fairly little equipment and comparatively little prep-time, this might ending up being the way to go.
the privilege of witnessing the future, what a time to be alive
Once people have more experience flying in that suit it’s going to be something truly amazing
Thanks
SAR, With a new old Twist!. Thumbz up.
The drones following as well.. Reminds me of sci fi movies, but i don't think they can be as cool as this.
I'm watching from Kalam valley....
The future 🔥
Imagine what this Jet suit will look like in 100 years! Wont be here to see, but likely awesome
The man is like a Suoer Hero!
3 minutes and 36 seconds ago I clicked on a video from Gravity Industries and was somehow transported to the future!
I want to buy a ton of shares. This is amazing
They injured that poor girl just to make a video. Sickening.
Need this for regular use
So Cool! Think you rig could be scale up to sling load the patent down the mountain?
"- Mom, was it Superman?
- No, baby, it was Jetman... hmm... Yes, it was Superman!"
Thanks. U
We need you to make it for foots to !
Incomming Jet Troopers.....the army will thank them....
I guess Superheroes will be wearing jetpacks after all.
Those drones, looks like he's teaching babies to fly. XD
We are living in so modern technologies centuary, that people even can fly !😀😀😀

Superman
Outstanding!!!
This could be a life saver as helicopters are not always available immediately.
Or able to land close to the casualty
The cost difference in deployment would also be significantly less.
They're more available than a guy who first has to travel to within the flight time limit of the suit via conventional means. Negating this would require a suit stationed every 20 kilometers, suits which can't carry passengers to a hospital.
These demonstrations are little more than proof of concept for a solution that didn't have a problem.
This is freaking cool. You just need to find a doc who can fly this 😊
Great application! But when using that machine for a long time, won't it make our arms sore? since we "press" the machine down so it can lift our body up. For one minute maybe it's ok, but how is it feel for a longer period?
They explained in a video somewhere that ~65% of the bodywheight is carried by the main engines in the backpack, the arms are mostly used for steering
i have to cross a river to get to work so this would be very useful for me 😂👍
Looks good, but I can't help noticing a lack of medical gear being carried. Is it possible to carry enough kit or is weight and bulk an issue?
I flew one in a lucid dream last night and then proceeded to kill a monster using one of the thrusters as a flamethrower. I guess my brain did a good job at simulating the flight since it felt real as usual for lucid dreams.
I am really want to try.
Where do I sign up to work for gravity? This is really cool stuff
where is that location? gorgeous!
I know theses are serious excersies, but your little drone helpmates buzzing alongside realy deserve names:-) I would propose the drones doing a point survey or wider scan, if you could monitor them while flying would increase the search area enourmously.
In a real life case they could send out a scout drone to spot the casualty and drop beacons for the rescuer, eliminating inaccurate location reports.
What if you're 1000ft above ground and suddenly the fuel runs out. Do you have an emergency fuel reserve for such cases ?? Or a parachute maybe ??
Imagine being in a special unit for search and rescue operations while utilizing this.
2 ND to watch
It looks promising as long as the paramedic doesn't become another casualty if he crashes.
What are ur equipment called
Give him some wings, then he can fly like a true jet.
Imagine using it
sir can we use this technology on mobile tower and GSM tower s
going on tope the tower for tech and engener and telecom rigger
Anyone know what song? It's beautiful
Not every hero is wearing a cape... Some have a jet suit
So who's gonna rescue the Medic ?
Dartmoor I think. I once camped at the first location, surrounded by the rocks.
was the height AGL limited? upon arrival to first location could a higher view have been achieved to locate casualty in the event of second person not waving?
I think it's mostly a ground effect vehicle, I've never really seen them get much altitude and I think it burns a lot of fuel/power to get up higher.
horseback riding, Mountain Biking and Hiking are so old fashioned
What is this place? What are the mountains?
How does this work?
How much do they cost?
💪👌
Quantas pessoas podem ser salvas se os bombeiros tivéssem uma dessa
It still needs Time. The Payload need to be Lighter. The Jets need to Slim down and be more Powerful. More Functionalities are Needed. The Power needs to Last Longer. This is a Great Start and should NEVER be used as Weapon of War.
How high can you go?
Isn't it about time to get some NEW adventures/material?
I HOPE this is the kind of work the suit will ALSO be used for :/ we all know that truely awesome sound coming from above in the future, probably 9 out of 10 times, will be a bad omen.
When can I buy one
This is what I suggested sometime back 🎉🎉🎉superb is the word 👍👍
Putting the "para" back into "paramedic".
